Mostly everyone speaks and understands English here in Quebec. This hotel is very close to Vieux-Quebec(old city.) It is 5-10 minutes by car on 440, or 15-25 minutes by bus 800, even with traffic. The Comfort Inn Beauport (formerly Journey's End, when I was a kid) remains an excellent and affordable choice for your stay in Quebec City. Clean, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere; although this property has been around since 1987 or so, the standards of cleanliness and comfort have been very well maintained. everything good you can expect out of comfort inn...perfectly clean; the complimentary wireless internet access was great; breakfast was $2.99 and it was ok for that price. they don't have a dining area, except only a few chairs which were already occupied so we ate in our room. next door was contruction but it wasn't very loud in the morning.... more
