This is a great place to stay. Pull thru sites. Great in town location. Staff were helpful. The kids play area was clean and well maintained. I found it very quiet there, it was full but people there were great and respectful. They do have park rules and they are great

We stayed here 3 nights waiting for the snow to stop so we could go to Banff area. Place is a gem, everything is maintained! Restrooms very clean! Office staff friendly! Trees, grass. Close to town. Town has some nice shops and restaurants!

Nice location, right on the Bow. Very well maintained. There is no organized activities, however, the Spray Lakes Sawmill Arena is right beside and has many activities that cost very little for the entire family. Very short distance from town. 10/ 15 minutes walk to Walmart, Tim Horton, Can Tire, grocery stores and much more. 20 minutes to Calgary (north... More

Very clean and friendly place. Stayed here two nights and it was quiet with a great view of the river. New Walmart and restaurants nearby. About 20 - 30 minutes from Calgary if you like big cities. Enjoyed our stay and would come back in the future.

We stayed here 6 nights while we visited Calgary for the Stampede. Booked nearly a year in advance to assure a spot during this busy time. Took Calgary Light Rail into the city which was best way to travel. The nearest station Crowfoot is about 20 km drive from the RV park. Parking was free there after 10am and ride... More

Nice pull thru sites with plenty of space and bushes in between each site for privacy. Each site had patch of grass. Had electric, water and sewer. Hookups were toward the front of site so most trailers will need a lot if extra sewer hose. Sites were paved and fairly level and it was easy to get in and out... More

The gates at Bow RiversEdge are latched closed at 11pm to prevent constant noise from vehicles throughout the night. They are not locked. You can always get out of the park we just ask that you do not drive in after 11pm. There is a parking lot outside of the gates where you can park your car and walk to... More

Very clean, spacious campground with green between all sites. Cochrane has all needed facilities (big supermarkets, gas stations and several lunch opportunities) and Calgary is not far away. Calgary downtown and Stempede grounds are easy accessible bij train, rv parking is free at the station.

First of all, I wouldn't call this a campground. This place was more like an RV resort. The sites are spacious, well kept, semi-private with immaculate grass area, picnic table and fire ring at each site. It was more than enough to fit our 5th wheel and truck. Getting in and out was very easy. All the roads were well... More

We stayed at this campground for three weeks, we chose it for it's proximity to Calgary - 15 minutes drive to the west side of the city. We travel with two dogs who very much enjoyed the off leash area on the pathway which is next to the Bow River adjacent to the campground. We walked every day for 30... More

We were headed to the Calgary Stampede and found out about the flooding in Calgary and the surrounding area, including the Bow Rivers Edge Campground. A quick call and we found out that the campground was just fine. What a wonderful surprise when we arrived. Wonderful friendly staff to greet us and immaculate grounds. We were given directions to our... More
