First the drawbacks, narrow spaces, wifi can be slow, pricey in season, no pull throughs, few 50 amp spot, can take some time to get over Lions Gate bridge based on traffic. Now the good stuff: Just across the bridge from Stanley Park. Walking distance to mall, banks, coffee and teas shops, salons, Home Depot, grocery stores, drug stores, fast... More

Stayed there November 2014 and thought it was great. Convenient location and very clean showers and laundry. Friendly service. A bit tight on space but nice van spots with tables. Easy transport to downtown from Park Royal shopping mall and close to Grouse Mountain.

We spent the first two camping nights of our recent Canadian trip at this site. The reception was fine and friendly, we were only a short walk from a shopping mall to enable us to get some essential starter stock. We did not need transport to town as we were driven around by two very good friends who collected us... More

This is the most expensive RV Park we have ever stayed in and the only good thing I can say about it is that it is a decent location and that actually depends on the time of day. During rush hours it is hell to get out of because the little 2 lane road that it is on is used... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review our RV Park. I must admit I was disappointed to hear you did not feel like you received good value for your stay. The rate for a 50amp site in high season is $69.00 per night and $52.00 in low season. We do offer 10% discount on these rates to... More

This is a must visit in Vancouver .. There is a free shuttle bus every 15 mins from most parts of the city and our driver was one interesting guide .. The suspension bridge was exciting and so was the cliff walk .. We also took the adventure walk and my child loved the overall experience amidst the woods ..... More

My family and I were very impressed with this campground. After driving slowly through the country, we've been to all kinds of campgrounds and this was definitely one of our favorites. First off, the location is absolutely unbeatable!!!! Don't expect a wilderness campground here because it's definitely not, but it is a PRIMO location for getting into town with ease.... More

My husband went in for open heart surgery in Vancouver. I researched all my options for accommodations and decided Capilano RV Park made the most sense given our situation. Great location, wonderful freindly staff and clean showers, washroom, pool and jaccuzi. The sites are very small we could not put out our awning it just wouldn't fit. Our sewage hose... More

We stayed here for two nights in July over Canada day. We had a Jucy rv/car with a pop up tent on the roof. We did a bit of research before booking and this campsite has the best location for tourists to explore the city without having to pay for a hotel. However, with this in mind it also means... More

We made a reservation at Capilano. During our trip we had some trouble with our RV so we had to cut our trip short. I send them an email just to let them know that we were not coming out of courtesy (not expecting a refund). Without asking they send us a reply saing that they would refund the entire... More

The Capilano River RV Park is a very well run establishment. From the time you check in to check out. We made the reservation on line and got the camp site we selected. The reservation website was a bit confusing at the end, once we booked the reservation, it went to the main page of the booking site and did... More
