We were traveling to Vancouver Island and spent two nights. Close to ferries and Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Small older motel with renovated rooms. The rooms were very clean. Staff was great with giving us help on local tourist attractions. They also let us park our car there after checkout until we caught the ferry. Walking distance to shops and... More

North Shore Vancouver hotels were totally booked due to the Women's' Soccer Finals and the Jazz Festival. We booked a room in this motel in the lovely village of Horseshoe Bay a 15 minute drive from our appointments. The motel is older but very clean with very helpful staff. It is only a long block walk to a park on... More

Great little motel with very friendly staff. But getting to it was not easy if you don't know how :) Hint: Take the "Ferry Traffic" turn off and follow the signs to the "Village" of Horseshoe Bay. It will look like you are heading into the ferry lineup, but the single lane heading to the water is taking you to... More

The rooms are beautiful. Actual coffee mugs and glass for drinking. Coffee, tea, and chocolate. Kind, attentive, helpful staff. Elegant furnishings. The hotel itself is simple, motel style, the only accommodations in beautiful Horseshoe Bay. Numerous restaurant options.

A clean, well appointed motel. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and very pleasing. A family owned and run facility close to everything in the village of Horseshoe Bay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rates are very reasonable. We intend returning for another weekend in the near future.

We were welcomed by the friendly manager. He was helpful about places to eat and could even give us opening times which we needed as we had to catch an early morning ferry. Our room was very clean and my grand daughter was very happy to have WIFI access. We would definitely stay here again.

Due to most hotels in Vancouver being booked up for the FIFA Women's World Cup, I ended up in Horseshoe Bay. The hotel was nice and clean - very close to the waterfront and fairly quiet. The only drawbacks were lack of a desk (I was on business) and no air-conditioning. It was pretty warm the first night and while... More

Whenever my wife and I visit British Columbia and Vancouver Island we always time ourselves such, that we arrive during the afternoon at Horseshoe Bay,stay at the motel, and then continue the next morning with the ferry to Vancouver Island. This kind of motel,2-storeys,L-shaped and smallish reminds us of countless others in small towns on our travels through the USA.Its old-fashioned,basic and a... We stay at this Motel 2 or 3 times a year on our way up to our cabin on the Sunshine Coast. We have always been pleased with the how clean the rooms are, but more importantly the staff has always been absolutely fantastic. I just booked with them again for our spring break run up the coast. Not only... More

A motel as a motel should be. It's really the only choice in Horsehoebay and this part of west vancouver, and conveniently located when you are coming from or going to the ferry to Vancouver Island or sunshine coast. The town itself is a lovely little spot on the water, with the ferry terminal right in the center. Good facilities... More
