N49°22'24" W123°16'29" A lonely motel near the landing docks of a ferry should be treated suspiciously. It has a captive audience of ferry passengers missing the last sailing or passengers for the early morning boat. Although we had enough time in the afternoon to search for a better alternative, we failed. A closed B&B and a B&B without breakfast on... More

Great stay, great staff. Very friendly place. The beds are very comfortable. Has microwave, and fridge. The town is cute, good restaurants. Would be great in the summer. We ate dinner at The Boathouse restaurant. Fabulous service and food.

I couldn't be more pleased with my warm greeting here - after a long international flight and a drive through Vancouver. Delighted with the clean well appointed room! I paid 122.04 (all taxes incl.) for Room 119 (upper floor) with a fantastic double bed and facing to town. The Hotel is one block from the shore-front and I can just... More

I stayed here with a friend between Christmas and New Year's to so some scuba diving in the area. It's a great little motel and in a nice community. I would recommend staying here again to take in the local diving!

Horseshoe Bay is a lovely place to visit anytime of the year and the Horseshoe Bay Motel is as quaint as the village. the rooms were clean and tastefully furnished and the staff friendly. I love that each room was decorated differently with charming antique furniture.

I stayed here on Oct. 29, 2015. I agree with one other reviewer that it does look like a 1960's roadside motel but once I got inside my room, I was amazed. It was warm, cozy and well kept. Furniture was excellent and it even had an electric fireplace. I was the only one at the motel that night and... More

We wouldn't have stopped in Horseshoe Bay if we had planned our BC Ferry sailings better. But there we were on a Monday night, the last ferry had sailed an hour ago and we had two options: Take a cab back to Vancouver and stay there or go check out that quaint little motel that we had seen for 25... The outside of the motel makes you think 1960's roadside motel, however once you open the door , the room has nice furnishings, is well arranged, clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and can will assist with ferry planning, (they know all the tricks and timing). Definitely a good spot to stay if you have an early... More

My wife and I are at the "Horseshoe Bay Motel",located in West Vancouver. And that can only mean one thing for us: Tomorrow we will take again the BC Ferry to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. But first we will stay overnight at the "Horseshoe Bay Motel",Horseshoe Bay's only hotel/motel,very conveniently located next to the Ferry Terminal (within walking distance). It is a small,... We were on a work trip in West Vancouver and lodging is rather limited if you don't want to commute from North Vancouver or downtown. We don't usually stay in motels but there wasn't a lot of other options. To our delight, this motel was clean, comfortable and quite civilized. The wi-fi was free and fast. The staff was excellent;... More
