I booked into this hotel some weeks back and received two confirmation numbers. Myself and my family showed up at 9:30pm, sick and tired, only to find that they had no record of us and were fully booked. Another lady in the lobby overheard of our problem and showed us her booking reference, which identified that our confirmations were legitimate... More

This place was really nice! But not cheap, around $135 for one night. However, everything in the area was expensive. We had 2 rooms & a bath, really clean, well decorated. Easy highway access. Only complaint would be the size of the eating area for breakfast, just 3 small tables. It was a very relaxing evening, almost like being at... More

We stayed at the Amsterdam Inn for one night. We were going to Alma for a kayak trip the following day, so needed a place that would be relatively close. From Sussex, it was about a 50 minute drive with a stop at a beautiful scenic overlook. The hotel staff was very helpful, recommended a place to eat, and seemed... More

We stopped here overnight on our way out of Canada. The hotel room reminded me of a United States chain hotel. It was a welcome surprise to feel at home. It was very clean and our room was spacious. Breakfast was included, unlike the other Canadian hotels we stayed in.

Stayed here for one night in June. The hotel is located about 1.5 - 2.0km from downtown. We had a ground floor room and although the receptionist didn't mention it at check in, the room was drive-up (i.e. it had a door onto the parking lot and the car could be parked outside making it much easier to deal with... Nothing negative about the Amsterdam Inn Sussex except maybe to vary the breakfast a little from time to time. It's in a good location for business in Southern New Brunswick, the rooms are great, large and clean, well presented and serviced and well equipped. The premises and grounds are well tended and the daily breakfast and 24 hour coffee is... More

We reserved one of the suites. The room was spacious, probably more than we needed. The only two beefs we had with the room was that it was on the second floor with no elevator access for luggage, and that in order to watch TV in bed, we needed to move the TV and the furniture it rested on! One... More

I have only stayed at this inn for one night but it was very enjoyable from start to finish ! It is a very cozy hotel and very clean and well serviced. The continental breakfast was very good as well. The area is very quiet and the hotel close to several places to eat and shop. The grounds are well... More

Just returned from a six night stay at the Amsterdam Inn, Sussex; what a lovely place! My room was extremely clean and well kept; Janet the manager of 18 years bestowed excellent genuine hospitality and "Darcy " made sure my room was top quality in her care! The continental breakfast was always fresh and the muffins baked every night were... More

I stayed at the Amsterdam after reading the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I came to Sussex to go to a best friends birthday party and arrived very early at the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She found a room that had already been cleaned (I did say I was very early ...12pm)... More
