Yes the comments are correct. It is showing its age. However still accommodating; nice golf; nice restaurant; very friendly and courteous staff; gave me a kettle so I could make my special tea; grounds beautiful; close to a thousand things to do.

We stayed at the Pinestone for a wedding. The grounds are lovely but the actual resort is showing its age. Little things could make a big difference at this resort. They do not have in room safes. This should be standard at a place that has weddings. Many guests would have jewelry or other valuables that they do not necessarily... More

Stayed for 2 days with friends in a 2 bed Chalet. Had the golf and breakfast package. The chalet was a bit tired but spotless with replaced granite counters in the bath and kitchen. The frig and kitchen set up were fine and the 2 bathrooms made it easy to get ready in the morning before golf. The beds were... More

Stayed for a weekend with my family and thought it may be a nice resort. Although it was probably nice awhile back and has beautiful grounds, it's just so outdated and not well maintained or serviced. Our promised high-speed Internet didn't work in the room due to a "missing part" as a result of a storm--ok then! The rooms and... More

Except for the dirty patio furniture, which I had to clean to use, the stay itself was adequate. However, I inadvertently left the cord to my laptop in my room and, despite the staff's assurance that it had been found and would be returned to me COD, over three weeks has passed and I do not have it. I have... More

My co worker and stayed at the pinestone resort overnight on a business trip in haliburton. The room was very affordable however a few minor things were some what annoying. You had to pay extra to have a fridge in your room. We were staying on the 3rd floor but their was no elevators so we couldn't use the baggage... More

My wife and I spent 2 nights here, while visiting family in the area. The resort offers many amenities including the golf course, tennis courts and both indoor and outdoor pools. It is a resort that has seen better days and the country décor, lots of pine accents, is a bit on the tired side. Our room with two double... More

I booked 2 nights. To get a room with a fridge I had to upgrade! That was a disappointment. My "upgraded" room is in serious need of upgrading. At $199/night I had expectations that were not met. Halls have a musty odour. The entire "Fairway" complex needs a complete renovation. The rooms - from coffee maker to bathroom needs improvement.... More

My family spent 3 nights at Pinestone and I must say we had a wonderful time. We stayed in the king room. It was very clean and the kids liked their own room. We found the staff friendly and helpful. The food in the heatherwood restaurant was great. They offer free access to paddleboats, bikes, tennis courts, etc. they'll even... More
