Thank you for a wonderful stay. The service was amazing and the accommodations were luxurious, don't be misled by comments about outdated decor. Thank you to Doug, Pat, and Jenny for making our stay so relaxing and thank you for going an extra mile. If you are looking to come and relax from a busy lifestyle, that's the place, highly... More

We have been at this hotel a number of times when visiting our daughter at camp. I have always found the staff to be very accommodating. The grounds are very pretty, however, the rooms are dated and need refurbishing. Of interest, the lock to the outdoor pool door was broken and I had to wedge it open so people could... More

We stayed here for a few nights this late spring. First things first: One needs to recognize that this is primarily private cottage country and there is limited hotel style (i.e. hallway access) accommodation in the area in general, and certainly so at the upper end. That said, although the Pinestone is on the pricey side for what you get,... More

Recently spent three nights there and was very pleased with the rooms, food was great, rooms very clean and friendly staff. The grounds surrounding the outside needs much TLC. Overall nice place for the value.

We stayed two nights at Pinestone. Nice and quiet and clean. The only annoying thing was the Wi-Fi was non-existent. Would we go back-sure. Most rooms are located on the golf course so it's quiet at night and not really busy during the day.

Friendly staff but the 2 nights we stayed in the cabin was more rustic than we would have liked. The tiles in the washroom come off, the light fixture wasn't working and there was a nail sticking out of one of the chairs. The nightly bonfire never happened (don't know why) and the indoor pool was crowded with only 1... More

We took our daughter, son-in-law and new grandson on a three day trip to Haliburton. Upon check in at 4:15 pm, on Saturday August 2 to 5th, we got to our room, a $485..00/night villa, and it was not vacuumed. I complained and they took care of it and sent house keeping. She was nice and apologized for the over... More

I booked a 3night family weekend away "up north". The prices were ok, but when I arrived we were told we had to stay in another building "the fairway". Not impressed, carpet very worn out and stain filled in the corridor and the rooms. I went to use the bathroom and there was what looked like a centipede! We checked-out... More

I took my husband to Pinestone for his 54th birthday..along with our little dog..the food was beyond bad. incredibly poor quality. very poor value...any similarity between this cook and a chef is purely coincidental! she / he did not even know how to prepare smoked salmon and bagel..raisin bagel (stale) fried onions!!! old off color salmon...breakfast was dismal the dining... We spent 2 nights at the Pinestone Inn for a Golf getaway. While the golf course was in good shape, the hotel needs a lot of updating.Everything seems dated. The patio was not cleaned, there were cigarette buds and debris on the ground. We stayed in the fairway rooms, the sofa and chairs were very worn, also the carpeting seems... More
