We were in blndus on a buisness trip amd we found this little B&B when we were really tierd. The place didnt really look like a B&B on the outside, the garden was a little mess. Then we walked in and a nice polish lady made us feel really welcome despite the fact that her english wasnt really good. We... More

I stayed in Blonduos for one night but just not here. I just happened to stumble upon it because it was the only place in town serving breakfast. Normally you have to have your meal ordered the night before, however the manager Jolanta prepared breakfast for us anyway. We had one of the best meals in our week in Iceland.... More

When we arrived to check in, my husband and I were asked to step aside by first the husband, and then the wife, so they could check another woman in who arrived after us, despite proclaiming our reservation. When the woman pointed out that we were there first, they said "yeah, yeah..." and continued. We were given the unfinished front... More

We stayed at Blonduos on our way back from Husavik. The room was clean, as was the shared bathroom (so beloved by Icelanders). Yola was incredibly welcoming, cooked us an evening meal, though we had arrived pretty late on, and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. As everyone else has said, her breakfast buffet is HUGE - you'll eat enough... More

This was a gorgeous guest house, in the most scenic part of the town of Blönduós. My room overlooked the river Blanda and I had a fantastic view of the Midnight Sun. The owner and her staff (family, I think) were extremely welcoming, especially since I arrived tired from a day's long cycling against the wind and probably looking -... More

Stayed here 1 night after cycling the Kjölur Highland! With my own sleeping bag I payed only 3500 ISK. Dinner cooked by the lovely family was tasty (Chicken gyros) and the breakfast buffet is a feast. For only 1500ISK you get scrambled eggs, good coffee, muesli, fruits, cheese, ham,...! If you are in the area, check it out.

On a short trip to explore the beautiful town of Blönduós, we decided to stay in a perfectly located guesthouse by the mouth of the river Blanda. We were immediately given the best room in the house, (a double in the upper corner of the building) overlooking the river where it runs into the sea. The owners, Jon and Yolanda... More

The guesthouse is beautiful and the owners (a couple) are very friendly and give you sense of family. The food at the guesthouse restaurant was very good. The rooms are extremely clean and the guesthouse in general was very tidy and in very good taste. Excellent value for the price. We were able to see the Northern lights after the... More

I went there with my girlfriend, in November such a great owners. We stayed in the apartment outside the main house. So clean and nice! Good food and I would stay there again. We had a good walk around the area. We dressed well and took ocean walk. Friendly staff and helpful staff.
