Charlie and Julia provide and excellent experience through lots of thoughtful small details that are " the difference that makes a difference". Do not miss the opportunity to stay here if you can. From the warm greeting to the great food and lovely bedrooms everything is based on quality. More

I recently spent 3 nights at Larkbeare and would agree with the reviews of those who have stayed before. Welcoming, comfortable, lovely breakfasts with exceptional apple juice !!! No need for a clock if you stay in the South Room, as I did, because the sheep in the field opposite have a very set routine. The luxury of having a... More

We stayed at Larkbeare for 3 nights in September and throughly enjoyed it. The location of the house feels rural but it's just 2 miles to the A30 making it an ideal spot for those who want the best of both worlds! Right from the start we were made to feel so welcome by Charlie and Julia. They really have... More

This is how it is done! Luxury, elegance, comfort and a feeling of being treated as somebody special. Well done Julia, you have definitely got the knack of making your guests feel at home and your property is outstanding plus the the English breakfast is to die for! More

We were recently travelling through Devon and were very pleased to be able to stay here again after a 6 year gap...it is such a relaxed and tranquil place with very comfy beds, lovely breakfasts with homemade jam and bread and yummy bacon! The owners are very friendly and welcoming with great knowledge and enthusiasm for the local area, which... More

I have stayed at Larkbeare Grange on three occasions whilst on business in the Exeter area. The warm welcome from Julia & Charlie, the beautiful house, the fantastic surroundings and the wonderful personal touches make this a magical place to stop and re-charge. This is my little Oasis in a very busy world.... highly recommend it. More

From the moment we arrived at Larkbeare Grange the stress of everyday life slipped away. Charlie & Julia have made a fantastic job of restoring the house paying particular attention to detail. The room we had was very large, even with our 4 year old sleeping on the sofa bed there was ample room for all 3 of us! The... More

We stayed at this beautiful B&B for 2 nights in March 2010. We were made to feel very welcome and found that our room had been upgraded. In the mornings we had a delicious breakfast in the elegant dining room. They had even thoughtfully provided a printout of the weather for the day. In the lounge there was a folder... More

An excellent example of what a quality B&B should be like. Caring and welcoming hosts, great accommodation with thoughtful extras and then a delightful and well prepared breakfast. All this within a tranquil and beautiful location--as close to perfect as possible at a very reasonable price. Thank you so much Charlie & Julia. More
