Stayed with my sister in room 2 for a night while visiting family(double+single). Friendly welcome, clean comfortable room and large shower room. Vinyl flooring throughout, tea/coffeemaking facility with fresh milk in fridge outside room. Sister very pleased to find hairdryer as well! Parking available. Although on main Bath Road we slept very well indeed. Breakfast was fantastic - cereal, grapefruit,... More

A very basic clean and tidy B & B. Carpet in the rooms would improve matters instead of vinyl floor covering. Made it seem cold in middle of May. Small double bed.Way over priced at £75.00 per night for "double room" and not that welcoming. The tariff was contradictory ! Nearly all taxi firm numbers wrong in room directory. Very... More

We stayed one night with friends. I had called before booking to check suitability for a young family with a 9month old (he sleeps through the night), and was advised that was fine and they could accommodate us without issue. I was advised the cost per room per night was £63. An odd number so I asked three times, and... More

I needed to be in Bath for one night only, now the issue is that most places in Bath insist on booking being for a two night minimum. Not so with Woodlands. The room was small, but well equipped nonetheless, and it was clean. light and airy. The bathroom functioned as a it should, too. A personal highlight was the... More

Good location. Very quiet despite being near the main road, room is kept clean and warm but boiler/radiators can be a bit noisy. Good parking and easy to get a bus into Bath. Great breakfast! Will happily return.

This is a lovely B&B; comfy, warm, clean and welcoming. The hosts were very helpful. Bus runs half hourly to bath and beats trying to get in by car which is a nightmare. Plenty of room to leave the car on-site. Breakfast was excellent; cereal, yoghurt, fruit, fresh coffee, juice and/or full cooked breakfast which was fab. Very good value. We... More

Stayed here last Christmas for the markets as all the b and bs in bath were full. Really warm welcome on arrival and quickly settled in as we wanted to go straight into bath. It was nice to have a room that we could return to at any time of night so we thought a few drinks and a meal... More

The accommodation at this guest house was excellent. However the description said it was a 10 minute bus ride from Bath; in fact it was more like a 20-30 minute bus ride. Also, the last buses back were either 8.30 p.m. or 11.00 p.m. with nothing in between!!!! Owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast, although very good, was in a... More

We stayed on the May Day long weekend. Just what we wanted a quiet place and out in the English countryside. There is a bus that runs from Bath and takes about 15mins, only £5 return. The B&B is run by Peter and Geraldine - friendly and they make a great english breakfast. They leave you pretty much to your... More
