Very nice place to stay, the rooms are clean and tidy and the food is great and if you are a real ale lover they had 4 real ales on which were all very good. All the staff are very welcoming without being in your face. Everything here is at least as good as you would expect for the price,... More

Decided to look for a local pub for Sunday luch and the Plough was our first choice - and there were no regrets. There were 4 adults and an 18 month old and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was excellent - service was wonderful and the whole experience was such that we aim to repeat the... More

We were going to a 50th Birthday Party and wanted a place to stay overnight. The Plough was in exactly the right location, but cant think of much else in its favour. The room was a reasonable size and fairly clean, but lacked any welcoming amenities and was in need of redecoration. A very old fashioned TV was fastened to... More

Stayed recently for family event in Wigston. Arrived late 10.30pm and the staff were great and got us in our room. Room needs updating but perfect for our needs. Coffee, tea, iron and trouser press facilities in room. Plenty of parking in the pub. Breakfast was great and made to order and served in the pub. Would stay here again.... More

My wife and I stayed for just the 1 night whilst up visiting friends & family. The staff we met on both Sat and Sun were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very enjoyable and the room was clean spacious and had all we needed for our short stay. The only downside was the tv which we could not... More

I was on a tour of England and 44 of us piled into this old pub. The meal they served us was delicious, homemade and the owners were very friendly. I would highly recommend eating there. We did not stay overnight.
