The Plough In is good for business travellers because the rooms are warm, clean and no noise from the inn [but see below]. There is ample parking. Breakfasts are excellent and served early, with a newspaper. There is a wide choice of nicely cooked and presented evening meals and the inn is very popular with locals, which is a testament... More

After reading the other reviews on trip advisor the plough looked like the place for me. I travel a great deal on business and stay in a lot of hotels in the £40 to £60 bracket. The rooms are small and shabby. The TV in my room had a nasty buzz on the sound that was very annoying. The bathroom... More

For the price we paid, this place was excellent. We stayed for 2 nights and found the staff incredibly welcoming and friendly. Excellent breakfast included in the price too! Our room was cosy but all we needed for our trip and very clean. A great bargain!
