This is an excellent B&B in many ways. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast had sufficient variety and good quality food. The garden is beautiful and a great place to relax weather permitting. Very reasonably priced and the proprietors go out of their way to look after you.

We found this b&b totally charming. Ann and John were wonderful hosts. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu was outstanding, I would totally recommend anyone to stay here. Wonderful place, wonderful people.

Fairlands is a beautiful, charming old place with a delightful garden and very comfortable rooms. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, and provided an excellent breakfast cooked to order. We were very comfortable and happy and will certainly aim to return in the future. Recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet and historic place to stay.

We were pleased we found this house and stayed here for a short break. Every B&B is different and it was a delight to find the hosts so welcoming. The house is long and large and also has an extensive garden with a number of places to sit at the end of the day. Breakfast was cooked to order and... More

I stayed for two nights in this charming old building in a quiet village, and would recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing break in the Fen Edge. The proprietors are friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the house has a quaint cottage feel. The room was excellently provisioned and had a view of the large and beautiful garden, which I... More

We were invited to a wedding in the area and found Fairlands through the internet. The house is charming and we were very well looked after. The double with en-suite was cosy and comfortable, comprising an entrance lobby with doors to the double bedroom and bathroom. I would definitely stay there again.

Visited this B and B for 1 night. This place is amazing. The owners John and Ann were so friendly and welcoming. The building was built in 1585 so there's plenty of bags of character and quaint features. Nestled in the village of Nassington, it's an oldy worldly village with the river Nene only a 5 minute walk away. Would... More

Ann and John were very welcoming, helpful hosts and Ann cooks a nice breakfast. The house itself is lovely and our rooms were clean and cosy (though not small). We stayed with our 3 month-old and there was plenty of room for his travel-cot. They have a really nice garden. The price seemed average for the area.

I was on a business trip to Peterborough and my booking at a local hotel was fouled up, John & Ann provided an excellent alternative and I would have no hesitation in recommending their frienliest of welcome to anyone

We arrived via Nene Valley Steam Railway to Yarwell Station from Peterborough. At Yarwell, there is a fantastic view of the lake(s) and a footpath, only, with a sign saying 'Nassington 20mins'. Ann & John at Fairlands can supply you with a footpath map on request. Wonderful walking holiday with poppy fields and bridleways and wonderful Cotswold-like scenery & houses.... More
