My stay at the Alpine inn was an excellent time. For the avid skier, the functionality of a ski inn/ski out hotel is indispensable. The convenience of their mudroom with areas to lock your ski's is also nice. The rooms can be described as Spartan and small but that is the trade off for being able to sleep on the... More

stayed in a tiny double room that was perfect for one (or 2) people. nice hot shower; room was nice and toasty warm (not all ski chalets can say this). Dinner was wonderful-- authentic goulash and red cabbage. Actually, I would just LOVE the recipe for that red cabbage. Also, you get to park right by the lodge which is... More

In short: friendly people, but the 70s called, and they want their decor/infrastructure/ambiance back.... Location can't be beat, of course, but how I wish it had better atmosphere. It strives to harken to the Bavarian Alps, but it smells funny, the heat either works at full blast or not at all, and it just isn't.... Very comfortable. To be fair,... More

Looking for some respite from our bitterly cold tent at the white river camp ground at Mount Rainier, we came in search of warming and comforting food. The prices suggested this was going to be an upmarket restaurant and, in the circumstances, we were willing to pay more for a pleasant and slightly indulgent experience. From the start, the service... More

charming and cute but super basic... don't go for the shower but for a ski lodge its alright. one thing that was not good was the service . an 18% mandatory tip for the restaurant and with that you don't get great service. Grumpy waitress and feel like you are bothering the staff when you ask for anything . i... More

My friends and I stayed one night in the Alpine Inn at Crystal Mountain. As we expected, our room consisted of a double bed and a set of bunk beds. It was very rustic at best and the room could use serious attention -- even new paint and carpet would help. The tiny bathroom with its shabby, mildewy shower curtain... More

After a long day of hiking, the Alpine Inn seemed perfect. We had dinner at the adjacent restaurant, delicious. The rooms have the older feel to them. Which is charming. The room has one bed, a soda bed, large cabinet closet and a bathroom. There is no TV, fridge, blow dryer, but, we were expecting that.

Location was the only thing this place had going for it. We knew going in that there was no tv, but wifi never seemed to work at all. Parking was fairly close to the building but included a walk up a gravel hill. Half the building was restaurant, so most of the outdoor spaces were used for those. The room... More

This room was tiny and dirty. The mattresses were bad. Every appliance was broken or repaired cheaply. The sink did not drain. Carpet was wet and dirty. Shower curtain so skimpy you could not shower without entire bathroom flooding. A fan was brought when requested but it was so small it barely moved any air. No staff at the inn.... More

It would be ski in, ski out location, if there were snow. Unfortunately, there is not much snow at the mountain this year, but they still are making it work. This hotel is super cute at the base of the mountain. They have reserved parking, right in the A lot. When open, there are a few trails that go directly... More
