This hotel is located within walking distance of the Gondola to the Summit Restaurant and to all hiking in the Crystal Mountain area. It is older, but clean, and the staff is very helpful and pleasant. As others have mentioned, the walls are not well sound-proofed and beds are not the best, but for a basic place to sleep while... Our room was room 411 on the top floor and on the end. This is the room to get in my opinion. The room is very basic, but very comfortable and clean! The water pressure was low in the sink but was great in the shower. Bring your own hair dryer. There was wi-fi and a flat panel TV, which... More

No headboard, dirty tub grout, used face cloth left behind, dirty/stained towel & pillow case, did not clean tub after first day, barking dog downstairs, they refill the shampoo bottles, very low shower head & low water pressure, only 12 channels on TV, WiFi not in room – must drive or walk about 200 yards across the parking lot to... We booked this room because we were trying to watch our dollars for this trip to Mt Rainier National Park. I was worried because of some of the reviews, but the room turned out to be OK. It was very clean, upstairs, with flat screen tv and good wifi. You do get free continental breakfast included with your stay Monday... More

At 4:00 am we were woken by the people in the room above us as they got ready to leave at the crack of dawn. Sounded as if they were on top of us! Since the Inn is really dated (seems to be from the 60s or 70s), not much attention was probably paid to noise mitigation. I was however... More

Good size room for our small twin beds. Lots of storage for hiking gear and the small fridge was nice. Shower had great water pressure, but the sink hardly had any. The coffee machine was broken and did not work. The staff was kind enough to hand me a new one, (in the box), so I had coffee the second... More

The staff is friendly, the views are incredible, the room is clean but the hotel as others have stated, is dated. As in nothing has really changed since 1960. A can of paint and new light fixtures could make a big impact. Walls are very thin so I recommend requesting at top floor corner unit. However even if you score... More

These rooms are outdated, broken drawers, outlets won't hold plugs, no hair dryer, patchwork repairs throughout the room. As previous reviews stated-it's true-the beds are atrocious unless you like sleeping on rocks. There is only one packet of coffee-no tea or hot chocolate. The toilet was so low to the ground. I'm 5'4 and when I took a shower I... More

On paper this should be a great place to stay, it is after all quite expensive. Close to Mt. Ranier, a beautiful location and all mod con. BUT it turns out that this place is there for one thing and one thing only - to make money from the thousands of visitors it attracts. Make no mistake the hiking is... More

Staying here RIGHT NOW (aug 9)while vising Rainier. The beds are rock hard, advertised as a queen. Its a full. The road noise outside goes on all day. The walls are so thin I can here every word of my neighbors conversations and they are NOT being loud. If your visiting ranier you'd be better off sleeping in your car... More
