The Millers cottage is very nice which is fortunate as the weather was terrible during our stay and there isn't much to do in the local area in the rain. We didn't see much of Katie and Andy but they were there in the background and it was the Christmas period. I'm sure they'd have helped if needed. The hot... More

We have stayed at Happy Donkey Hill twice now and had great stays. Nothing was too much trouble and on our first stay when it snowed, Kate and Andy took us out to lunch and to do some sight seeing so we didn't miss out on our trip. Very dog friendly, our little dog Willow was made to feel really... More

Absolutely great time here, Andy & Kate were brilliant, could not have asked for a bigger welcome! Spotlessly clean cottage with huge bed. Warm and comfortable with use of a fantastic hot tub. Sauna and gym available to use too. We met the animals, all well cared for and friendly. We will return and have recommended Happy Donkey Hill to... More

Gorgeous location, great facilities, our dogs love it just as much as we do!! Home away from home.. A very relaxing and pleasant stay had by all. Personal hot tubs, so we never had to wait for a space, or even share at all!! this is a great feature, sat in a warm hot tub under the stars! Comfy beds... More

Our second visit to Happy Donkey Hill, this time staying in the very luxurious Stables (for couples). Beautifully laid out, fabulous bedroom with huge comfy bed and amazing bath and shower. Log burner in the lounge, although the heating is so efficient that it's way too hot to light it!! Use of own (high spec) hot tub, and gym situated... More

We stayed here for a night while my son was kayaking nearby with his club. The location is beautiful - away from the crowds and stunning view over the hills. In the morning the area was surrouned by a lake of fog and mist. Couldn't have enough of it. The room was very spacious with all necessary amenities. We stayed... More

Our week long stay in Miller's cottage at the start of September with our 4 German shepherds was amazing. Upon arrival on the Friday evening, we were greeted by Andy who gave us a warm welcome and a tour of the cottage, surrounding grounds and introduced us to the lovely family of animals that call HDH their home. We met... More

I stayed here on business for a night and it was fantastic. Kate greeted me as I arrived and made me feel so welcome. I had a room in the main house which was more like a self contained apartment. At breakfast I was due to get to work early but ended up chatting to Kate for nearly an hour.... More

Great B&B. Katie and Andy were first class hosts and made us feel really welcome. Breakfast was great too. Many thanks both. You really made us feel welcome. Looking forward to coming back and renting a cottage in the near future.
