This was the perfect place to stay. The location is stunning; beautiful views in a quiet little rural village. The food was to die for, Helen and Henck were lovely hosts, making us feel very welcome, very relaxed and like nothing was too much trouble. we stayed for 3 days at the Paresse en Douce whilst exploring the Auvergne region. Whilst not central to the Puy de dome the detour is very worthwhile. Helen and Henk have an amazing old character house which retains all the old charm of the period but it is decorated in a modern style with great bathroom and shower. The... More
