My wife and i just spent two nights here, and i can recommend the hotel. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and very clean. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi. There are two restaurants. We only went to one, Le Bordelais, which we like very much both for breakfast and dinner. The check-in with fast and the... More

The hotel is well located, right in the center of the city. You can easily walk to the various nearby restaurants (on a Monday night in early June, many of the restaurants were closed or their kitchens were closed) or take a walk along the water. The hotel itself is OK. The room was fine but could definitely use a... More

very decent hotel, well located in the , rather small, city center. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equiped. Very comfortable large beds, excellent bath room. The hotel is cosy, the bar and restaurants as well. Food is very good according to lacal standards and breakfast, served on table, is complete, good quality and warm. Staff is very friendly... More

We just spent 3 nights at this great hotel. The desk staff were all hospitable and very helpful in both languages. Our TV remote was not working properly and was replaced immediately. Our large well appointed room overlooked the raging river. The breakfast has lots of choices and is good value for the price. The hotel is within walking distance... More

My wife and I chose this hotel based on trip advisor and hotel.ca comments for the start of our bike tour of lac Saint Jean. We had booked a king bed room, and we were assigned a corner room overlooking the "cascades" of the river. Hence the name of the street "Boul. des cascades" . Excellent choice. Front desk staff... 10 days into our tour of Ontario and Quebec we stayed here for 3 days, a slightly unusual choice for English visitors, we were not disappointed. Our room had a great view of the cascades and was large and comfortable. It had a 'pod' coffe maker which made great coffe but no facilities to make tea (good job we had... More

Second time staying at this hotel, and I was not dispointed. With CAA membership rate, this was a fabulous value. The service is exceptional, and location ideal - one can easily walk to nearby park and downtown pubs and restaurant. The Hotel's restaurant provided with a fabulous breakfast at a really low price. Thanks SO MUCH!

A good, clean, reasonably quiet hotel with a friendly, efficient staff, good room size and an adequate exercise facility. Access to the Internet was via a lobby computer, one, and it was free of charge. Relatively inexpensive, definitely a good value. The breakfast choices in the restaurant were good, as was the quality. Easy walking distance to several restaurants. We... More
