The warmest possible welcome was extended by Murray! Our room (#6) was huge with kitchen. Yes, it is slightly dated as per other reviews but we love this place none-the-less. It's a great place to stay if you're rolling in off the ferry. Thanks Murray!

we pre booked for the night we arrived on B.C. ferries from Bella Bella. For a basic place to stay in a somewhat remote and small community I guess it will do.. My companion didn't like it at all. It's just a bit old and dated.

The Bella Coola motel is a welcoming place to stay after a long journey, which is inevitable if you want to be in this beautiful valley. It is very low key, but the units are very well equipped, quiet, clean and comfortable. The owners were extremely helpful, we wished we could have stayed longer. If you haven't been before, don't... Kinder hosts you will not fnd anywhere...a peaceful place, well cared for. I will stay again for sure. Nice to be able to cook meals, really good shower too which was so nice. With windows on 3 sides of each unit there is really good ventilation which is better than most motels.

This was our first trip to this area (came up from the city to check out wildlife, etc.). I was travelling with my young (toddler age) daughter and found the staff to be very knowledgeable about the area. This was a huge plus, as we had travelled a long way with fairly minimal knowledge of what to do once we... More

New owners are improving the campground. It was very quiet and clean, with a lovely view of the river. The owners are helpful and friendly, with a bonfire at night for all of the campers to sit around and enjoy. The location is ideal for walking around the village. Residents were friendly and eager to tell us about their valley.... More

Clean, comfortable and quiet accommodation. Complete kitchen units with your own phone. No switchboard so family and friends can call at any time. Central location to shopping, fishing and ferry. Steve and Gabriella, the owners, make you feel welcome and at home. For overnight or long term stay for business or holiday this is the best accommodation in the valley.... More
