we stayed for a week again and had the most amazing time. the cabins are very very comfortable and cozy with an amazing view of the mountains. the helicopter picks you up 10metres from your cabin and takes you straight up skiing in the mountains. the food is amazing and so is "Swede's" wine cellar. can not reccomend it enough.... We stayed at the Tweedsmuir nearly 3 years ago and it was so memorable that I thought I must put a review up on Tripadvisor. From the accommodation, the setting, the staff, the tours, the guides, the food.....EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC. We hope to return on an anniversary in the future.

Thank you for your enthusiastic review! It is a good sign that you plan to come back in (hopefully) near future. This fall, we are repainting the main lodge and renovating the sports bar to make it more cosy and update the style. Goodbye green carpet! Looking forward to hosting you soon. More

We went right at the end of the bear season and it was nice and quiet. It is difficult to know what to say about this place as it was all great. The cabin was cosy and spacious, and the food was excellent. We had good sightings of both species of bear and two mountain goats. We did not manage... More

I thoroughly enjoyed 6 nights here and could not fault it. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely down pillows, luxurious towels and warm BATHrooms with unlimited hot water. Pleasant chalets though I would have preferred brighter bedside lights. The only problem was trying to persuade the cook to give me less food! My only disappointment is that I did not... More

spent 5 nights at the end of August with my daughter looking for natural beauty and adventure, and certainly got what I was looking for! This is a wonderful lodge with wonderful staff in a location of jaw dropping beauty. Our cabin was great, the food was gourmet, and each day we had planned activities that were equally fun. You... "An experience of blissful happines" is one of the definitions of Heaven. These words are also an appropriate way for me to describe Tweedsmuir Park and the and the Lodge located in the park. I travel to Bella Coola on business at least once a year and no trip into the valley is complete with out a visit to TPL.... More

My wife & I stayed 4 nights as part of a Western Canada tour in September 2011. When we contacted Manouane we could only reserve the Owl Fisherman's cabin as all of the other more upmarket cabins were taken. However we personally found this to be an excellent choice. Anna-Lee (not sure of spelling) on the main reception was fantastic... More

We spent 4 night here in the Caribou chalet for the last part of our trip to Canada. The logde was situated in the most beautiful surroundings with viewsof the mountains from our chalet. All the staff were fabulous and Swede was a great host. The main lodge was welcoming tastefully decorated with a lovely log fire on cool evenings.... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your very positive review. It means a lot to the staff and also to Swede to hear that they have accomplished their goal of making the stay as enjoyable as possible. More

I followed advice given in tripadvisor reviews. This place is a Wonderland in itself. I had a chalet, it was so inviting everytime i entered the room. So clean, the large be and upstairs attic, the interior was with all the windows all round looking over the park, the mountains, and of course a good safe place for viewing the... More

Driving in, we were immediately struck by the breathtakingly beautiful surroundings of the lodge. Clearly a nature and wilderness lover's paradise! The reception we received by the staff was extremely warm and friendly. Rebecca got us settled in to our comfortable Black Bear chalet and we got the feeling that she'd have done anything to make sure our stay was... More
