the location of Sunfower Inn is perfect, and the facilities are very good.My sister and I had two lovely days, perfect hot, sunny weather, really nice brekkies, and Kathleen was an attentive host. Christina Lake is a beautiful place to stay.

We wanted one last weekend this fall to enjoy our kayaks and paddling on beautiful Christina Lake, as well as the warmth and hospitality Kathleen offers at Sunflower Inn. The weather was cooler, but after a hearty breakfast ( gluten free can be requested in advance!), we set off and actually enjoyed the quiet and stillness of the lake and... More

We arrived on Friday morning to get in one more weekend before fall sets in. The weather was great. Kathleen was a wonderful host as usual. We kayaked on the lake Saturday and Sunday. The B&B is right on the lake and there is beach storage for the boats. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Wireless Internet through out... More

We stayed at the Sunflower Inn for 2 nights on a recent trip to visit friends in Cranbrook. We were greated warmly at the front door by Kathleen. She showed us our room downstairs which was comfortably cool compared to the July heat outside. The room was comfortable and felt like home. Outside our picture window was an amazing view... More

Ok, so I was a little put out when upon arriving we were asked to remove our shoes before entering the house, little strange for a commercial establishment. The house is quite nice, our upstairs room(the one with the private bath) was very nice although a bit warm as there was no a/c other than the central air which was... More

This was our 3rd visit to the Sunflower Inn. It certainly will not be our last. Kathleen had a warm welcome for us. We love the quietness of the area, the view of the Lake is second to none! A perfect swim in the warm waters of the Lake can start or finish a perfect day. As B and B's... More

Good food and a nice log B&B on Lake Christina. Beautiful lake views from your room window. The absence of window treatments however ensure a very early start to your day. House rules require shoes be left at the front door. Bring indoor slippers for feet that ache when walking barefoot on wood floors. This is a good location from... More

I was on my way to Nelson in the spring and thinking I would get a Sandman there. When I saw Christina Lake it was a no Brainer to try and get a BnB. As it happened I was able to catch the last turn off to pull into the Sunflower. Kathleen was as warm and welcoming as her BnB.... More

Was here in the off season (early October 2012) so can't comment on high season, but it was beautiful when we were there. Rooms are large with a sitting area and the lower level rooms open onto a deck that is lake front - literally a few steps from the lake - which is of course absolutely beautiful. We just... More

I decided to stay at the Sunflower Inn to enjoy BC a little bit more before I continue my journey back home to Montreal. It was fantastic. Great location, superb views, nice hikes and lots more. The sun deck was very relaxing. Huge and delicious breakfast. Very comfortable and cozy rooms. Super clean. Everything that you need is there. Had... More
