We stayed in cabin #5 at the Dutch Lake Resort for four nights Aug. 20-24. This cabin faced the lake but you could not access it from in front because of all the lily pads in that area of the lake. We loved our stay in the trapper cabin. We were there for two nights and slept with our screen door open. Found the air conditioners not to be too effective but the cabin was so cute. We are booking a second weekend soon. Can't wait to get out in the lake. more
My family and I stayed in TeePee 2 for one night. I can't wait to go back. The accomodations were not fancy but having a kitchenette was great. What a gem of a place. I had booked this online using their photos as a guide and I was not disappointed. We left our booking late so could only get an A-Frame and given how hot and sunny it was, a small and cramped corrugated tin A-Frame cabin with 1 fan was scorching inside. Lovely spot overlooking the lake but the decor had seen better days and with no air circulation, we decided we would get little sleep in the heat... more
I am sorry you were not satisfied with your accommodations. The Aframes are the least expensive cabin on our property for this reason. We have since installed air conditioning in the Aframes and they have new beds. We try to improve each year. Thank you for your comment.
