We spent 4 nights in Salter cabin at Dutch Lake Resort. Nice location, right on the lake with a beautiful view of the forests and mountains. Cabin was one of the original log cabins with lots of room for a family of 6. Very well equipped - everything you need to cater for yourself. Great value for money.

The front desk was great when the cheery blonde lady was there, the other girls were rather rude and unfriendly. The Chambermaids were very nice and provided towels when we asked. The older lady was not so accommodating and was quite nasty. Nice place but crowded and could do a little more to recycle. Menu at the restaurant was boring... More

After our deadly experience at "Dogwood" (this being our first ever RV experience) we approached this park with some trepidation. Fortunately the place was quite the opposite. Our site was a full hook up and we had a lake view. It was a little uneven but we eventually settled. We thought about fishing but it was very expensive to hire... More

PLEASE keep in mind that we were there RIGHT BEFORE END OF SEASON: We stayed here for two nights and loved the cabin (Salter Cabin). It was a great balance of modern (hot water, all dishes you'd need, television with cable), but still cottage-like. (log walls, quilt on the bed, wood floors, wood-framed windows). Because it was near the end... More

Beautiful place right next to stunning views and a lake. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms clean. Our RV had a lovely view of the lakeside. You can rent canoes/row boats from reception for next to nothing. Try a walk into the little town. Very friendly folks and a lovely cafe in town well worth a visit,... More

We stayed in the Moose Cabin, their largest cabin (1200sqf!) with two bedrooms (one with queen bed, the other with two twin beds). The master bedroom has an ensuite and a walk-in closet. Kitchen and living area are huge as well as the deck with propane BBQ, tables and chairs. The kitchen is well stocked, the living room has a... More

I was a bit reluctant after booking this few months is advance for a one night stopover between whistler and Jasper. But to my surprise it was fantastic. Check in was great, very friendly lady on reception, got keys straight away, had been upgraded to the point cabin, had originally booked an A-frame cabin, thanks for that! The view from... More

We stopped here in our RV for one night enroute from Grande Prairie to Victoria. The campground was almost full and was quite noisy. There is no buffer of trees or anything else between sites so if you have noisy neighbours, you will hear everything going on at their site. Our site was not level so required a little creativity... We spent 2 nights here and found everything to our liking. The plot for our rv was spacious with plenty of space to sit around our campfire! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did my have chance to try the restaurant - too busy cooking on our campfire, but other campers recommended it to us. Excellently situated... More

We were looking for a convenient place to stop over half way between Edmonton and Vancouver and were pleasantly surprised with so much more than just a stopover! We pulled in to Dutch Lake Resort at about supper time and hooked up our trailer in a full service in site which we had reserved. The full service sites (we stayed... More
