Stayed two nights here in July. From the outside, on the main highway, it does not look very attractive, large dusty parking area, lots of space for trucks. But inside there is all you need, a hotel, a restaurant, a bar, a liquor store, each separate from the other and no noise nuisance. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. We had a problem with the window in the room we were allocated but were quickly moved to one with a working window. Rooms were large and comfortable but the whole hotel will need refurbishment soon as things were getting a little tatty. There was no pool, but a small hot tub overlooking the central lawn area. Air conditioning coped well with 93 degree heat, which seemed to obring out more of the mosquitos for which the area appears to be famous. An excellent base for the town anf to stock up onprovisions and information before heading up to Wells Gray Park
