My wife and I stayed four nights mid-February in a groundfloor suite in one of the cottages. It was a very comfortable, spacious, and lovely place to stay. The views over the surrounding ranchland from the cottage were fabulous. On a hike along the Flat Iron trail only a few minutes up the road from the ranch we saw seven... More

This could have been a great vacation spot. The cabin is small but quaint and cozy. The location is far from all amenities, which means that unlike most Rocky Mountain locations, it is far from highways and railroads and so truly quiet. All you can hear from the balcony is a pleasant sound from the creek and from the animals.... More

My husband and I (and our two pups) enjoyed a wonderful winter getaway at Nakiska Ranch recently. The cabin was cute and cozy and had all the amenities for us to cook for one another. There was a closed in porch for the dogs to get fresh air and not escape! And minutes from the cabin was ample opportunity for... More

My husband and I (with our daughter) really enjoyed staying at Nakisha Ranch! We were stunned by the natural beauty of the region and all the work Lars and Aida placed into keeping their ranch working and comfortable for guests. In addition, they were great resources when figuring out what to do around the park. I certainly recommend staying there.

Last June,we were doing a driving tour of the Rockies. Stayed in many places all good and great. This place was a fantastic place to chill out and an absolute gem of a place to stay. The accommodation was very clean and the food was fabulous and more than enough to eat. It is a working farm which added to... More

We spent three wonderful nights in a comfortable, spacious and rustic cabin on this welcoming ranch. In a beautiful surrounding, with the noises of cattle, horses and dogs and the regular visit of a chipmunk on the huge terrasse, we enjoyed our stay very much. We had a nice little breakfast, which was served in our cabin (coffee we had... More

Our family stayed with Lars and his family for two nights at the Nakiska Ranch. It was a perfect spot in idyllic surroundings. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and Lars was very hospitable. We ate at the ranch both nights and the food, always Lars's barbeque specials, was delicious and served in a friendly environment. Thank you for... More

Our family of three loved Nakiska Ranch. The cabin was great and had everything we needed: stove, fridge, gas fireplace, and great places to sit inside and outside. Our daughter even played with the dogs. The Ranch is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Wells Grey Park is a short drive away. We so loved the Ranch and the area that we... More

We went horse riding in the Wells Grey provincial park and it was great. Spending two hours on top of a horse, riding through such a beautiful environment is just awesome! The dinner at the ranch was ok but the pricing was a bit too high.
