Very Friendly Service and with rooms that are always neat and clean! Watauga Village has under gone some major changes over the past summer and looks completely fresh and renewed inside and out! Great place for a family destination where you're close to town and still in a natural beautiful area, filled with wonderful nature and surrounded by trees. Picture... More

Our huge family completely enjoyed everything about Watauga Village, We stayed in all the Motel rooms and Cabins. Recently renovated we found our Host Doreen so cute and so accommodating. Clean and quiet, was so refreshing after the long drive to meet everyone. The coin operated laundry on site was great for the little ones. We will all be back.

After visiting busy areas it was nice to be able to relax in the log cabin. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. The owner and her family were very friendly and helpful. There were restaurants and a supermarket within a short driving distance. It is a good location for the Wells Gray Provincial Park.

As others have written, there isn't a lot of choice in Clearwater but we made a bad choice. It looks to be in a quiet village - like area away from the Highway...but is very near the rail track with the usual long noisy trains. It is very dated and in poor condition. Our room was not actively dirty but... More

Booked sight unseen via internet. Should have checked Tripadvisor first. Never stayed anywhere as bad before. Cabin full of cobwebs. Bed linen from the 60s was clean but so worn & dated. TV only let you get news channels. No where to hang clothes or prepare food. Pans wet inside and filthy and rusty. No curtains in bedroom or bathroom... More

We made the mistake of booking this one-nighter, sight unseen, as we needed somewhere to break our drive from Vancouver to Jasper. Big mistake !! The booking picture did not show the run-down reality of this roadside motel/cabin. The place was deserted except for one friendly enough, but disinterested elderly lady from cabin#1 who gave us the key. Despite being... More

My husband and I rented a cabin at Watauga Village and were extremely disappointed with the cabin, for many reasons. The "kitchenette" consisted of 2 burners and a sink, with not an inch of countertop to put anything down on when preparing meals. The kitchen table was for the most part taken up with a huge microwave. There were no... More

The extra bed in the living room had a very thin mattres. The place is old and needed an update. The host is friendly.
