this hotel was used as accomodation for the stars of Brokeback Mountain. It was comfortable and close to town. A microwave and fridge were very helpful and the breakfast the next morning very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a non-smoking room but there were chairs right outside with ashtrays supplied so no leaving the windows... More

This motel is reminiscent of those in the 50's and 60's along Route 66 in the US. The check-in and checkout were flawless. The property has been well maintained - I noticed that new insulated windows had been recently installed. Our unit was more of a cottage and had lounge chairs outside with potted flowers - very homey. The room had... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this little motel. It was spotless, although it did have a bit of a strong "carpet fresh" smell, maybe Febreeze or something, but I don't mind that smell myself. If you have perfume allergies it might be a bit strong. The bathroom was avocado green....remember those colours? Toilet, sink, and tub, just like my old... More

Went there for a tournament and it is not fancy for sure. Has very mismatched 70's style bathroom having various colours for sink bathtub shower curtain etc and small bathroom for sure. Internet was very weak but the manager (I assume that is who he was) brought some internet booster which slightly helped but not much. Despite that the rooms... More

Fort MacLeod is no bustling metropolis. The town looks like it's been hard hit by the recession, with many buildings with closed/for sale/for rent signs on them. However, it's a way point between Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump and the next stop, Drumheller. When we were there, it was quiet as a graveyard. So don't expect anything fancy from the accommodation. The... More

The goal was Lethbridge but the town was full. It was clearly not our first choice but we had to find a place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised. A friendly staff, clean rooms, AC and internet. It is not a resort so don't expect it to be.

Stayed with family while we were in the area for an event. We had four rooms, including one family suite with a separate bedroom. The family suites are in a separate building but are close to the motel rooms. The rooms were clean but very dated and it was the first actual key I've had for a hotel room in... More

We have been travelling throughout the USA and Canada for 6 weeks and this Motel has the best beds we've slept in since we've been here. We've been staying at a range of hotels , motels and B & Bs from 5-star to 2-star and the beds in this one can't be beat. Clean rooms, nice staff. All good. Highly... More
