Drove through Fort Macleod looking for accommodation and settled on Red Coat Inn. Was good choice, there was a choice of rooms with kitchenette. Room was tidy and clean. Good spot to walk around town and to stop for the night. Welcome was warm and friendly and Internet is fast.

Friendly, courteous, helpful people. Room 27. 2 queen beds. Average room, needs upgrading, clean linens & clean bathroom. Dirty bathroom floor, mould in the fridge door, stains on the chairs & one lamp broken. Kitchen comes with dishes, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, 3 burner stove, oven & fridge. Breakfast was meagre. Juices, bread, cold cereal, muffins, banana's & porridge.... More

we really enjoyed renting the ground floor large family suite in its own little building. The beds were comfortable just bring a foamy for the fold out but all fold outs need extra foamys as a rule. Great kitchen in number 16 ...it was quiet, clean and nicely decorated even if it is an older motel you can tell the... More

A basic, but clean and comfortable motel. Window-type air conditioning a bit noisy, but certainly not unbearable. Small kitchenette, fridge and micro wave. Reasonably well-equipped. Rooms not large, but manageable. Good value for the price. Stayed two nights in order to visit Head Smashed In Buffalo a Jump. No regrets. Much of the film "Brokeback Mountain" was shot near here,... this hotel was used as accomodation for the stars of Brokeback Mountain. It was comfortable and close to town. A microwave and fridge were very helpful and the breakfast the next morning very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a non-smoking room but there were chairs right outside with ashtrays supplied so no leaving the windows... More

This motel is reminiscent of those in the 50's and 60's along Route 66 in the US. The check-in and checkout were flawless. The property has been well maintained - I noticed that new insulated windows had been recently installed. Our unit was more of a cottage and had lounge chairs outside with potted flowers - very homey. The room had... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this little motel. It was spotless, although it did have a bit of a strong "carpet fresh" smell, maybe Febreeze or something, but I don't mind that smell myself. If you have perfume allergies it might be a bit strong. The bathroom was avocado green....remember those colours? Toilet, sink, and tub, just like my old... More

Went there for a tournament and it is not fancy for sure. Has very mismatched 70's style bathroom having various colours for sink bathtub shower curtain etc and small bathroom for sure. Internet was very weak but the manager (I assume that is who he was) brought some internet booster which slightly helped but not much. Despite that the rooms... More
