We recently stayed at the Cedars Inn Hotel and were more than satisfied with our visit, the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. In reading reviews like the one (warmhappyfeet) wrote it is apparent that some people just like to complain. Even in their own review they stated that the staff resolved the issues with their room... I don't know what the other accommodations are like in Gibsons but this is definitely one to stay away from. Maybe it's different in the summer but when I stayed here recently it was not good at all. When I first walked into the reception area it stank of cigarette smoke. What a horrible way to be greeted. The counter... More

My experience was quite different from that of some reviewers who found this hotel wanting. It suited me fine. I stayed for two nights. The staff person at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. I liked the room, which was large and spotlessly clean. There was a simple kitchenette with a microwave, dishes, flatware, and cookware. It also... More

This place is a dive, I felt like I was in a 1980's cifi flick. The heater was busted, the bathroom was gross and there was mold and mildew all over the place, the beds were hard as a rock, there were stains on the curtains that clearly had never been cleaned. Overall I would say this place should be... More

There is nothing wrong with this place. It's definitely needing an update but its clean, and fine for an overnight stay. Not the place for a romantic getaway though. Great friendly staff, and convenient location.

Visit starts with a horrid front desk worker (who we later find out is the manager), rude, spoke on his cell phone the whole time while checking us in and seemed disgusted that we were interrupting his phone call. Lobby reeked of cigarettes. Room was extremely run down, smelled musty, stains on carpet, and even stains on the lampshade. Air... More

I called ahead and booked my room. It was supposed to have been 99$ for the night. When I cehecked out I was charged 150 and told they don't have a 99 $ rate. It clearly says they do on their website. The website also says they have wifi, and a restaurant. They have neither. The rooms were old and... More

We had a great stay here. Air Conditioned room, clean and neat. Yes the place is older and showing wear around the edges,( kinda like me) But still a great place to stay. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Didn't use the sauna (only cuz i dont like saunas) but looked clean and functional. I would like to have... More
