The Lakeview is a great choice if you are visiting Slave Lake. The hotel is very clean, the room was fresh, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet at night. The hotel offers an above average breakfast in the morning. Cookies and Popcorn available at the front desk. The wifi worked great.

Stayed here for an overnight stay on our way to Edmonton. Hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast supplies was your standard breakfast. At check in, daughter received a cheap free toy (actually a nice touch) and complimentary Act 2 popcorn. Will stay again and had very peaceful sleeps.

Lakeview Inn and Suites is my first choice in places to stay. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and well appointed. Everything is very clean and well kept. Wi-Fi was fast. Breakfast goes beyond a standard continental breakfast and offers hot options in addition to muffins and bagels. Service is exceptional and I was even called to ensure my room met... More

We had a great stay here at the Lakeview Inn and Suites. This is an up and coming hotel chain along the lines of Holiday Inn and Best Western, and they have paid attention to the details. Warm cookies in the afternoon (try the whit chocolate macadamia), friendly staff, popcorn and movies, clean rooms and a good selection of breakfast... More

Thank you so much for your kind words! My staff and I were thrilled to read your review and it confirms why we do what we do! We believe it's the little touches that make staying here different from the rest. We also think the Macadamia Cookies are the BEST as well :) Cheers! More

Hotel is nicely situated with a restaurant close by. Hotel has poorly maintained exits and parking lot was so slippery that people were falling daily. Good hot continental breakfast and soup at night.

I stayed two nights. Great hotel, friendly service. The room was clean and fairly modern. The duvet covers are a slippery material, soooo they are always sliding off. I found we fought with it both nights. But other than that, overall pretty good :).

We stayed here for 2 weeks while on business. The first room we stayed in had a cover on the bed that smelled so bad of BO I could not sleep and had to throw it off of the bed. the second room we stayed in the comforter was so lumpy and old that it hurt your body to lay... More

I stayed at the Lakeview Inn & Suites in Slave Lake for 4 nights in August 2013. The room was clean, comfortable and functional. Like Shawn H, the room was as hot as a sauna when I first checked in, but after adjusting the A/C controls, it cooled off to a comfortable temperature within an hour. A couple of things... More

In a nutshell, the room was nice but it was 110 above when I arrived. The ac didn't work great and was very loud, maybe partially broken. Room didn't cool off until about 5am, so sleep wasn't great and earplugs didn't help with how loud the ac unit was. The staff didn't really care. Essentially it cost me $193.00 dollars... More

We are all Red Cross volunteers that worked on the disaster operations about 2 year ago. We contacted the hotel to see if we could get a special rate because of the purpose of our visit. We were pleasantly surprised that the Emily, the GM honored us with a hotel room for the night. We had a great visit with... More
