Hotel is nicely situated with a restaurant close by. Hotel has poorly maintained exits and parking lot was so slippery that people were falling daily. Good hot continental breakfast and soup at night.

I stayed two nights. Great hotel, friendly service. The room was clean and fairly modern. The duvet covers are a slippery material, soooo they are always sliding off. I found we fought with it both nights. But other than that, overall pretty good :).

We stayed here for 2 weeks while on business. The first room we stayed in had a cover on the bed that smelled so bad of BO I could not sleep and had to throw it off of the bed. the second room we stayed in the comforter was so lumpy and old that it hurt your body to lay... More

I stayed at the Lakeview Inn & Suites in Slave Lake for 4 nights in August 2013. The room was clean, comfortable and functional. Like Shawn H, the room was as hot as a sauna when I first checked in, but after adjusting the A/C controls, it cooled off to a comfortable temperature within an hour. A couple of things... More

In a nutshell, the room was nice but it was 110 above when I arrived. The ac didn't work great and was very loud, maybe partially broken. Room didn't cool off until about 5am, so sleep wasn't great and earplugs didn't help with how loud the ac unit was. The staff didn't really care. Essentially it cost me $193.00 dollars... More

We are all Red Cross volunteers that worked on the disaster operations about 2 year ago. We contacted the hotel to see if we could get a special rate because of the purpose of our visit. We were pleasantly surprised that the Emily, the GM honored us with a hotel room for the night. We had a great visit with... More

On past business trips to Slave Lake, I’ve always stayed at the Holiday Inn, however due to the last minute nature of this visit, the hotel was fully booked. After looking at the Tripadvisor reviews, I decided to try out the Lakeview Inn (over the Super 8). Booking online was easy and the cost was average. The hotel is the... More

I stayed here May 2012 for work for 3 nights. It was a wonderful stay, great staff, spacious clean room, lots of hot water, decent internet (LAN, didnt try wifi). Checked-in in the evening, unfortunately they overbooked the normal rooms, and one of us had to play musical rooms. I had a two queens room. Comfortable enough bed, very nice... More

Room was nice, staff friendly and helpful. Internet service was good. Nice plus is the fact that the room where brekfast and evening soup is served is actually open all the time - so you can get fruit, juice, cereal whenever you'd like. I was disappointed by the limited hot tub hours, though.
