Rooms made of concrete. Bathroom has no fan, bathroom door doesn't turn off, not does tap in sink. Poor amenities and only 2 towels in room.

This hotel was made out of concrete blocks.. Dark and grey.. The tap in my bathroom dripped all night, the tub tap had a constant stream.. I hate the connecting door as you can here EVERYTHING in the connecting room. The lighting in the room is very dark, the furniture is old and cheap, the bedding grim.. Yuck! There were... More

Sand paper towels but that's pretty much typical for a budget style hotel. The breakfast in the morning was excellent! The only issue was the wireless internet was not working and there was no... Slave Lake now has many hotels and this would not be my first choice. I arrived with an electronic resrevation that they said was not valid and not in the sytem even though I had it right on my blackberry. I got send to the far end of the hall where I had no cell reception and was told if... More

Looking at the website, one might come to the conclusion that this is a state-of-the-art conference center in the middle of Alberta. Unfortunately, it is not. Good points: 1) Clean, clean, clean. 2) Room is large 3) Restaurant is a plus. 4) I haven't seen that kind of water pressure since the 1970's. Bad points: 1) Absolutely no discernible difference...
