The welcome at Cougar Ridge was one of the friendliest & most genuine we've ever received at a B&B. The owners are both entertaining and attentive without being intrusive.

The rooms were spotless and well equipped although the bathrooms were not en-suite. The breakfasts were tasty, relatively healthy & large enough to tide you over until dinner.

All in all, this was a great place to unwind. In fact, it was so conducive to just sitting back and relaxing that our plan of three day-hikes became one day-hike and a couple of strolls round the nearby lakes!

Oh, and as we left there was a bear sitting right outside eating berries from the bushes...must be what scared all the cougar's off. more
