My family went to Nottawasaga Inn for a Saturday night to Sunday - just a short family getaway during the Christmas holidays. It was my parents, an 18 year old, and two 21 year olds. The lobby is breathtaking, with marble everywhere and chandeliers and a cozy fireplace. It is definitely an impressive entrance. We really enjoyed the tropical themed... More

16 people in our family were here for the weekend for a special occasion. One room was upgraded to the Presidential Suite and we were able to gather there for a private party. It was a wonderful experience. The pool is amazing and the hiking trails were very much enjoyed. The food was excellent and we had the dining room... More

We went for a 2-night getaway starting on New Year's Eve. The New Year's Eve gala was one of the best we have ever been to: themed decor (London Calling), immense dinner buffet with delicious, freshly prepared food, including half-lobsters on the seafood table, and prime rib carvery, complete with Yorkshire pudding in keeping with the British theme. Dessert table... More

We were there in December overnight with 14 family members and I can tell you the rooms, food, and staff were excellent. When we arrived check-in was a breeze. We had 5 rooms on the 5th floor with awesome views of the river. The beds were comfortable and the washrooms were clean and spacious. Everyone found something to do between... More

Food was ice cold, manager was rude to my husband and I. I called down to let the manager know my husband became ill after dinner and he hung up on me and did not care. Maid staff barged into our room at 9am and check out wasn't until 12. It was the worst experience of our lives.

Our small group (6) of crafters went to the Nottawasaga Inn as a last minute arrangement. We were to be at another location and it was cancelled on us. Arrangements were made as always with the lovely convener (I so wish I could remember her name). No matter how small your group is you are always treated with importance. Since... More

6 ladies had their weekend away - they set up a meeting room for us with 6 x 8' tables for sewing, 2 x 8' tables for cutting and two ironing boards and irons. The package we booked included buffet dinners Fri. and Sat., buffet breakfast Sat. & Sun., buffet lunch on Sat and a fantastic brunch on Sunday. The... More

The hotel is good for conferences, hockey tournaments and outdoor recreation. There is a golf course and ice rink facilities. The hotel is older but I stayed in a newer room. I would ask for a newer room(I am not sure when they renovated). My room had a comfortable bed, it was clean and the washroom had modern fixtures. The... More
