Wonderful place to visit. The chalets were very clean and well equipped. The food was fantastic. Had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts and things couldn't have been better. We'll be back.

The Inn was lovely. Airy, clean, rooms and guest chalets all well equipped and comfortable. The view was an ocean view over a green expanse of lawns and gardens. The food was fresh from the garden and delicious. Overall -a treat. We will be back.

We were taken aback at the accommodation quality of the Amherst Shore Inn after reading the reviews. The distance from Amherst itself made it a less than convenient location to use when visiting Amherst. The 1960's decor of the main Inn rooms were less than impressive (unless you enjoy pink frills) with nothing that could accommodate all our children adequately.... More

The inn is very welcoming, with comfortable rooms and the dinners are amazing. Wine list is good too. A nice surprise were all the fossils on the little beach, although they are actually from the fill brought in from other Nova Scotia locations.
