Booked this online having been described as a hotel. It's not - it is a Motel - room has a door to exterior as well as interior. However it was clean and comfortable. Convienient right off Trans Canada highway and close to lots of attractions. It was central for us for our trip to Prince Edward Island, Moncton and St.... More

The staff was lovely and the wifi was strong. The room was clean and otherwise average. The AC unit worked hard to keep the inside temp lower than the outside temp. Located very close to the transcanada highway. Perfect for a night enroute, but one to stay and enjoy the neighbourhood. Breakfast was good, better than a regular continental but... More

My wife, another couple and myself decided to take in some of the beauty of Nova Scotia and travel its shores and a couple of wineries. We picked this motel as our base for the first night, but after that first night decided to stay two as to the immediate surrounding area was beautiful and the motel surpassed our expectations... The staff are so friendly and helpful, and obviously devoted to their jobs. They really go out of their way. Good things about the room - the windows open, comfortable bed, blackout curtains... Not so good things - crummy shower in a cold bathroom, no movie channel, laggy wifi. The restaurant was amazing for lunch/dinner - consistently excellent meals and... More

Great staff, everything else is just plain awful! I just recently attended a conference there, and the staff brought the same gross dried sandwiches all three days of our conference!! The restaurant's food is not too bad, but this place just plain needs an update. My room looked like it had been updated a few years ago, but the main... More

Wifi didnt work, phone was horrible, wired internet didnt work, was told that there was a flatscreen in the room... Nope. Room was cold, tons of light comes in at 6am from the window, loud neighbors, random knocking at the door, the lightswitch had to be in the right spot to work, receptionist was horrible and seemed to hate her... The room was cold heat would not keep up. It was ok the room was not very clean and the beds were in bad shape. We found the TV was old and there was not enough towels for the number of beds. In winter the parking area at the front entrance was not plowed out and the restaurant and lounge... More

My wife and I enjoyed our night at this hotel in Amherst. The reasonably priced room was quite spacious, and very accessible on the ground floor from our vehicle. In addition, we also found our breakfast at the restaurant on the premises to provide both good food & service. We look forward to returning to the hotel again soon!

Booked online for an overnight visit in 2012 and was pleasantly surprised - clean, spacious and reasonably priced. We chose a drive-up room so we could easily load/unload our car. The staff were efficient and courteous and the restaurant was good with friendly wait staff. Because of that visit we booked and stayed again on business in 2013. We found... More

Booked online for overnight stay based on price. Was genuinely and pleasantly surprised at our check in with upgrade to king suite. The clerk was very pleasant and friendly. Had supper at the restaurant, truly a hidden gem. The homemade meals were wonderfully tasty, nice cozy atmosphere and excellent service thanks to our server Janet. I travel for work, and... More
