Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful and rooms quite spacious but unfortunately the beds were poor.My double bed was two singles pushed together with one side very soft and meant you rolled towards to the side

This place needs help. The caretaker staff were courteous and provided great customer service. However the room was dirty with loads of dust in the usual places and musty smelling. The bed - old and lumpy and smelt like fly spray - awful. The furnishings cheap and outdated. It has loads of potential - fix it up!

Comfortable hotel, easy access from the harbour bridge, extremely helpful staff. Easy access to either Devonport (and hence the ferry into the CBD) or Takapuna both of which have great dining. Lovely walks along the beaches.

$175.00 for a Double Bed and single on third floor was two much to pay for this room. The single bed needed replacing, the only way I could get a comfortable night sleep was to remove the mattress and place it on the floor. It was an old inner sprung mattress and base, and the mattress had gone all soft... More

Tatty & Dated - banana shaped saggy mattress with metal spring poking thru. Very small TV with poor reception & no Sky TV with lots of street noise -- & we had 'superior' studio! Desperately needs upgrading. No return for us - disappointing since we used to live here in Rewiti Ave!

We stayed here in the family studio unit, as most places were booked out on this long weekend. The photos I saw on the website we booked look decent, clean and modern. However, the room we got was not so. There was peeling paint in the corners, and a cupboard door removed from the unit to fit the microwave, and... More

Excellent location and very easy to get to. Close to the beach and both Devonport and Takapuna. Room was pretty tired and bathroom design was intriguing - not sure what architect they used but I am confident he wouldn't have a job anymore. Also pretty worried about the air conditioner unit being on the balcony where a toddler could easily... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. Location is good for the north shore. Not far from the takapuna shops and beach. Plenty of parking available. The room is like a studio, everything all in one- except separate bathroom. Beds were ok a bit hard but fine. Furniture bit outdated but you pay for what you get. Only thing I did... More

Well situated for Devonport/North shore. Under new management who go out of their way to provide a friendly first class service. This compensated for the tired condition of our room. It was OK just tired and needed some TLC. Free WiFi and breakfast - both good + points. Also a small pool and Gym.

I was so shocked with how horrible the customer service here was! I simply asked the woman when will I get my bond back. She started yelling and screaming at me over the phone and speaking over me when I tried to talk. And then she hung up on me! I tried to get in touch with management about this... More
