We chose this motel because it is only a few minutes drive from our son and his family. It was a good choice: clean well-appointed rooms, welcoming hosts Mandy and Dave (fellow Yorkshire folk!!) and our granddaughter loved the swimming pool. We spent three consecutive weekends there. Convenient location for Howick and Bucklands Beach, with Highlands Park shopping just down... More

We stayed here in a family room in Jan for a night before flying home. The service was great, beds comfortable, and kitchen well appointed despite everything looking a bit dated. You should be very careful staying here with small children though, and there is a hand rail on only one side of the steep narrow stairs, and the bars... More

Hi There and thank you for your feedback. We are aware of the situation with the stairs and handrails in some of our units and realize that they are not the best for some very young children. We are currently in discussion with some builders on how to improve the Handrails and make them safer. I am confident the situation... More

Love staying at places where moteliers obviously enjoy their job, and want it just right for you. (as opposed to places that have signs everywhere, and just supply the bare essentials) Clean and comfortable. Nice furnishings.
