This accommodation is comfortable and clean, in the beautiful setting of Field , a small village in the Rockies. Hosts are very knowledgeable about the area, and while available when needed are also very respectful of travellers' privacy. It's a quiet location, somewhat sound-protected from the characteristic train sounds of Field. Groceries are very limited in Field so shop in... More

This Guesthouse was wonderful value for money, it is very well maintained, has everything you need in self-contained accommodation, and the hosts are warm and friendly people. We didn't want to leave! Suggest purchasing groceries before you arrive as the choices in town are limited, or dine at the delicious Truffle Pigs restaurant. Field is a small and quaint town... We stayed for two nights looking for a calm a relax place ... And we found it. This guesthouse is very clean, well maintain, very good value for your money. If you want to cook, just bring the food everything is here . Very close to all the attractions, cozy place after a good hiking. Super friendly host

We stayed three nights at Mt Stephen Guest House and while our accommodation was clean, the bed comfortable and the kitchen well equipped, our overall emotion was one of disappointment as we found that it was rather gloomy, lacking in decoration and a bit claustrophobic. The owners were away when we arrived and we had no communication from them before... More

Field is a really delightful small village, which appears to be full of B&B`s.It is very convenient for Banff, Lake Louise and other gorgeous places. The accomodation is self contained on the ground floor and with two couples travelling together we found this absolutely perfect. The accomodation is comfortable and with the provision of a kitchen area it gives a... More

Decided to stay in Field rather than Lake Louise on grounds of cost. 20 min drive from Field to Lake Louise, 20 minutes to Golden so great choice. Guest House was a self-contained apartment in basement of family home. Kitchen and lounge combined, separate bedroom, separate bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped, furnishings perhaps a little dated but perfectly adequate, poor... More

We had a wonderful stay in the delightful town of Field. Our hosts were most accommodating of our 4 month old son when other b&b's turned us away. On our second night, the power in the town went out due to a bad storm. The hosts boiled water on their gas stove for our son's bottles.Their kind efforts were greatly... More

We stayed at the Mount Stephen Guest House for three nights. It was perfect for our family of four. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We saw the hosts, Kim and Craig, when we needed to -- they went out of their way to help us when one of us had a medical issue. Also, there is... More

We stayed here in August and used it as a base for hiking. My brother and his wife had the second suite. The accommodation consists of two basement suites each with a kitchen. This makes breakfast very easy. For dinner you can cook in or visit the Truffle Pigs Restaurant which is just down the street. The couple who run... More
