We stayed in the Fireweed Hostel having visited Banff and Jasper National Parks. The staff were very friendly, rooms light and clean, beds exceptionally comfortable and all other facilities including the huge kitchen and amazing lounge with fireplace were excellent. Would definitely recommend to all travellers, the hostel is modern, homelike and better than some hotels! more

Fireweed Hostel in Field is only a 20 min drive from Lake Louise and is superb value. We stayed in the family suite which is really a 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen and bathroom facilities. We (3 friends) had an amazing 1-night stay @ the Fireweed hostel in Field, BC. Very cozy atmosphere - the FULLY equipped kitchen (coffee maker, toaster, new dishes/pots/pans etc.) + common/dining room feels like at home. We stayed in the private suite, and it was really great! Everything you need is provided. I would definitely go back for a longer stay as the area has lots to offer and the hostel is the perfect place to stay while discovering the area! Very friendly owner and lovely hostel!!!! more

Had a really great time there. I thought it was cosy and kute. I like when I can cook my own food and not feel discusted by the dishes. Was alone in a room of four. Did not bother me. Overall clean and made me feel at home. I will be back this summer for sure. more
