We stayed here for five nights in Sept 2014. We booked a Deluxe King Cabin and were very disappointed with the size of the cabin. (Cabin 8) The cabin looked lovely both inside and out and the setting was great, we could even hear the river from our cabin. The cabin was too small to have a king size bed... More

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this out of the way Lodge. It is completely worth the little extra drive through scenic Jasper. It was about 1.5hrs drive from Banff. Both times I stayed here (2006 and 2014) have been a great experience, and the cabins showed no signs of age or wear - still felt like a... More

First of all, I rarely give a five star rating to a hotel unless they are an ultra posh resort hotel where you should expect five star service....but Cathedral Lodge earned a 5 star rating! The location is amazing! CML is not a huge sprawling resort like the Chateaux at Lake Loiuse. The larger resorts have massive amounts of tourists...tour... More

This must be our 8th or 9th stay at Cathedral Mountain Lodge, starting years ago when the original accommodation was group of converted miner's cabins. The old cabins are long gone replaced by up-scale tastefully furnished purpose built 1 – 2 bedroom cabins. The premium cabins have a proper fireplace and there's lots of firewood for a cozy fire at... More

This place is a little pricey, but worth the stay. Beautifully crafted and decorated cabins give you an amazing experience in Yoho National Park. The decorations are NOT tacky and gross. Everything is elegantly put together with cozy fireplaces to cozy up to. There is an amazing lodge where you can dine with the serenity of the woods all around... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in a twin lodge. We had lodge 17, which was right by the main lodge and car park. The lodge 'resort' was perfectly situated for the highway and numerous attractions in the Yoho, Banff and Jasper parks. The lodge itself was beautiful, light, big windows, lovely bath and shower, spacious, a fridge, proper kettle and... More

We had an enjoyable stay but with some reservations. The proximity to the road and railway definitely did intrude although the noise did lessen when in the cabin .Having stayed at Moraine lake lodge the location was a bit of a disappointment . The cabin seemed a bit dark at first but was good in the morning to sleep in.... More

My family stayed for one night at Cathedral Mountain Lodge after a day of hiking in the area. We were in one of the large cabins. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We ate dinner at the restaurant and had a wonderful meal. We bought a "s'mores kit" at the front desk to make around the campfire by the... More

We just loved this place. The cabins are cute as can be and cozy and well appointed and decorated. I would have liked somewhere to hang clothes but that was not a huge problem. Sitting there with the fireplace going and looking out the windows, or sitting on the deck and watching the sky was sheer bliss. We arrived the... More

After Cathedral Mountain was recommended to us by a Canadian that visits the area regularly my wife and I chose to stay there for 2 nights and loved every minute of it. The staff are very friendly and informative, the dinner was great and the lodges themselves were incredible. They are charming, very well designed, clean and private. The lodges... More
