We stayed one night here on out trip up to Jasper. Very friendly staff. About 15 minutes drive from Lake Louise. The rooms are basic but clean. Beautiful view, but the traffic outside is continual till around 2am. Value hotel. Continental breakfast included.

We stayed 3 nights in early July, We booked our Family room a couple of months in advance. Located on the HWY #1 (Trans Canadian) not far from Field, a quaint village. The hotel is very old and in serious need of renovation. It sits on the busy highway with day and night traffic including the mounstrous semi-traillers. The Wapta... More

Since my trip was a last minute thing, all the beds in the area of Field were already booked. I shared my room with an elderly couple who snored so loud, that I almost could not hear the sound of the highway that goes right next to it anymore. In the serenity of the beautiful Rockies, this place is not... More

We were looking for a place just to lay our heads while we explored Yoho national park. We read a lot of bad reviews about it being loud and were afraid to stay there at first, but because we chose the cabin/forest view, we didn't have a negative experience. We brought earplugs and they worked! For us, it was quiet... More

We were recommended this hotel by a previous staff member so decided to give it a go as accommodation in Banff was very hard to come by and expensive. We were very impressed with what we found. So much so that we stayed 3 nights as it was so convenient to Peyto Lake, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and Banff. The... More

Fantastic view. The Staff were excellent friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. The bar was good and the food in the restaurant very good. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here because we were coming from Banff on our way to Jasper, the location was perfect. However the room is very small, wifi does not work, bathroom is tiny, bed isn't comfortable and there's no mirror or coffee maker. If youre coming from the US this room is probably worse than a 59.99 motel6. We played $160 for... More

A fantastic choice for budget travellers; clean, low-key lodge and good restaurant at quite a discount to Lake Louise offerings, just 10 mins from Lake Louise We stumbled on this place using a Google Maps search for lodging near Lake Louise, and booked one night by phone (the online system showed no availability). Then, after more planning and even afer finding some negative reviews on Tripadvisor, we booked a... More

We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed the place very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed. Breakfast had 3 different cereals, toast, juice, and some fruit. Very slow Wi-Fi but you can get your email. The mountain view room has a great view. But you can hear the... More
