What's in a name? Canadian Rockies Inn may conjure certain images in your mind, but it is actually a very comfortable modern house/store with attached accommodation.we arrived to find that although nobody was home, there was a note on the shop door and on that to our room welcoming us. Our host introduced himself later in the evening. The Sidings... More

. My first impression upon entering our suite was totally positive. The living area was brightly painted, and absolutely clean, the kitchen area, white and sparkling, floor clean without doubt. The bedroom and bathroom were the same. We felt totally at ease to use the dishes, without rewashing them, and used the microwave to heat up our supper which we... More

The room at the Canadian Rockies Inn was clean and comfortable. I didn't realize that one of the rooms doesn't come with a kitchen, but that was my mistake, I should have paid better attention during the booking process. Field is a good place to stay when crowds aren't your thing and the Canadian Rockies Inn is an affordable and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in September whilst hiking in the rockies. Field is ideal for Yoho park, Lake Louise and the Lake O'hara region. The accommodation was nice, clean and affordable and we can't fault it. Luc was nice a friendly, even lending us a bear spray after scaring us with stories of local bears!! Oh and the... More

Myself and my wife stayed here on April 18 of this year (2014). It is situated in Field, BC. Field is a small town which was created by Canadian Specific Railway for accommodation of their staff. Many facilities of a town may not be available here but scenic beauty is fantastic. Field is situated in Yoho National Park of British... More

What an unexpected gem of a location and accommodation! Spacious room with enough kitchen supplies to make things easy for a snack and adult beverages. The king bed was beautifully appointed and SO COMFORTABLE! This is the !perfect! location to stay for hiking day trips . . . love, love, loved it (and we've stayed from Jasper to Waterton). We... Field is a good location for Yoho and Lake Louise away from the main tourist area, a quirky little place next to the railway. We liked our suite at the Canadian Rockies in - plenty of space, very clean, and a comfy bed and we thought it was good value for money compared to what else is on offer in... More

Our family stayed here in August and this was the perfect home base for us. My husband and I had previously stayed in Field so we knew it was a wonderful base for hiking Lake Louise, Lake O'Hara, and the Iceline trail. With a king in one bedroom and a pair of twins in the other, Suite 3 is perfect... More

We chose Field to stay in as it was close to Lake Louise, Takakkaw Falls and Emerald Lake. It proved as a great base and a quiet place. We stayed in the Canadian Rockies in the third suite. the suite itself is very spacious, and Luc your host is very accommodating. The suite has a good king sized bed and... More

We stayed in this accommodation during our vacation and trip across the Rockies coming from Jasper. We choose Field as an ideal place for YOHO NP, the South of the Icefield Parkway and all activities around Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, since all three areas are very close. Its also a lot less busy as Lake Louise and prices are... More
