The food was tasty when it arrived however it took close to an hour and a half after ordering for our food to be served. It is clear they were busy and there was only one server so we were patient but when the food did come we were disappointed at the portions. I had the goat cheese alfredo which... More

Field is a small place, perfectly situated for hiking and sightseeing in Yoho National Park. Truffle pigs is a really homely and comfortable place to stay, the only significant drawback is the train line and the very noisy trains that pass throughout the day, morning and evening. This is not an issue with Truffle Pig, you will find this staying... More

After reading all the good reviews, I decided to book a night here. Seriously? Why the hype? I think the cleanliness is below par. The room is humid and lack ventilation as I walked in. Queen size bed for 2 people is really too small for us. The reception area is far less appealing, it's the back of the restaurant... More

We stayed here for one night as we drove up the Icefields Parkway. It was handy as we were visiting Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls. The hotel room was a bit musty but clean, with a fridge in the room as well as a coffee maker. The bathroom was very dark - so dark that it could be a bit... More

Stayed at the Kicking Horse Lodge and ate at the Truffle Pigs Bistro. Room was small but acceptable and clean, with a soft bed. The food was great and the staff fab and fun. The village is tiny but friendly and nice to stay off the beaten track a bit while on our Canadian road trip. Nice chocs and gorgeous... More

We spent here 3 nights and enjoyed it! The room with the kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The stuff is very helpful and service oriented. Field itself is a perfect location for hikes at Yoho National Park and Lake Louise area. Warmly recommended!!!

If you're looking to stay in the Lake Louise area, do expand your search to the lovely town of Field and stay at the Truffle Pigs Lodge. It's a cute, clean hotel with a fabulous restaurant that turns into a very welcoming bar after 9 PM. The only downside - We were put in the first floor room right next... More

We spent one night here on a road trip in June 2013. It's hard to separate the lodge from the restaurant but if you stay here it would be a crime not to eat in the bistro so this review should be taken as covering both. The lodge is very comfortable with good amenities - impressively comfortable and mildly stylish... More

Driving through Field looking for a coffee shop it seemed everything was still closed from winter- until we stumbled across trotting this fabulous place. Food service and ambience you would expect to find in a big city. It was really fabulous- highly recommend it as a place to eat, drink and soak up the views. We certainly did - best... More

The Truffle Pigs lodge is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for that quiet getaway, or even if you just need to rest for a night. Be sure to head down to the restaurant, where you will find a nice, cozy, and very beautiful dining room. The friendly staff will make you feel like your one of... More
