It's a pity we only stayed here for one night. This place is reasonably priced and has everything one would probably need. The lady owner was really nice to highlight the difference places we could go nearby and she even provided us with maps and directions. Comfortable bed, hot shower, free wifi, satellite TV, well equipped kitchen, and a good... More

My husband and I stayed at this guesthouse for two nights and it had everything you would need. There is a full kitchen, which was exceptionally clean, a very cozy bed, lovely sitting area and access to wifi and satellite television when you're looking for your downtime. The price was great and the guesthouse owners were extremely friendly. Fantastic town... More

We stayed at Van Horne Guesthouse for 4 nights in early September 2013. It is a basement accomodation. We found the place to be delightful and was exactly what we wanted. It was a good base to visit Lake O'Hara, Lake Louise and Emerald Lake. Field is a quaint little town and found it be very peaceful. Upon recommendations from... More

Owners were very nice and the guesthouse (one only) had a nice enough kitchen, but it was dark inside due to it being partially sub-terranium. I do not recall seeing this on the website. It was very well situated to Yoho, but a bit of a disappointment if you are looking for a place that has thee feel of the... More

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay for a few nights and is accessible to Lake Louise and hiking trails in Yoho, stay at Field and at Van Horne! We were received by the owner and he was very friendly. The apartment had a kitchen, neat bathroom and a nice bedroom. The Kitchen is fully equipped and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Van Horne Guesthouse for two nights prior to setting off on the Wapta Traverse and loved it. It was very clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and the owners are really great. It was affordable compared to the other places in town. The large living/dining/kitchen area was the perfect place to spread... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as a base to see lake louise and golden. Field is a very small town but has a few great sites near by if you are exploring the rockies. 4 of us stayed here. There is 1 bedroom and a sofa bed. It was the same price as our 2 bed house in jasper... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the guesthouse during our Yoho National Park visit. There was plenty of space and natural light. We did not find the guesthouse gloomy as noted in previous reviews. The guesthouse came with a microwave, stove and even had satellite TV which was great after a long day of hiking. The bed could use replacing... More

This was the most expensive of the B&B's we stayed in, and the least appealing. To save typing, we totally agree with 'Depressing' below - especially the very uncomfortable bed. On the plus side, it has a full cooker, inlcuding hob. Wish we had known this (it was advertised on their website as 'an oven') and we would brought more... More

The location is great as a base to Yoho and Lakes Louise and Moraine. The apartment is basic. I would add carpets to the bedroom and replace the mattress. Nice kitchen. Field is a nice little place with 1 expensive but very good restaurant (Truffle Pigs) and 1 good local diner - reasonable prices. Like my formers I suggest to... More
