As everyone says, the breakfasts are wonderful; fresh fruit salads, yoghurt, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, breads, conserves, and a different delicious cooked dish every day. Unlimited tea , coffee etc. Guests are also able to use the kitchen for making drinks whenever the wish, or cooking a supper if required. The whole main floor is guest territory, with it's... More

When we mentioned at the ParksCanada tourist office in Field, BC, where we would be staying, we were very encouraged by what appears to be a very common response: "You'll just love the breakfasts!" Elaine's breakfasts are justly famous. She is always looking to cook or bake something a little different to add to the already generous spread. This may... More

Elaine is a perfect hostess; so warm and charming. Her breakfasts are perfect for those who are planning a long hike. She has a wealth of information on the area for any level of activity. She was very flexible and allowed us to warm up our dinner in her kitchen. We stayed two nights and even though the room was... More

We just had a wonderful five-night stay with Elaine at the Coyotes Den B&B. Great breakfasts, comfortable accommodations, and the ideal location for activities in Yoho, Lake Louise, and Lake O'hara. Elaine is so welcoming and considerate of all her guests. We will definitely stay here every time we return to the Lake Louise / Yoho area.

Couple in 50ies stayed two nights while hiking in the area. Had a great stay, room was small but clean and comfortable. Elaine worked very hard to make all feel welcome and the breakfasts were good. Was a little odd sharing a bathroom with two other couples but it worked out fine.

My partner and I stayed here in July and had a fabulous time. The room was cosy, there's a big bath tub, and Elaine provides a wonderful breakfast. I can't believe how much she does to welcome guests: she works really hard and it shows. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone passing through the Rockies.

Coyotes den is a lovely little B&B, Elaine is a wonderful host and makes you feel so welcome, she is a fountain of knowledge about the area and provides delicious breakfasts. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\elaine is also happy to lend detailed hiking maps and bear spray! The bed was comfy, lovely garedn and patio, you can self cater if you wish or nip... More

The Coyote's Den had the feel of a homey cabin in the Rockies and Elaine was a most welcoming and gracious hostess. Our room, although small, was warm and comfortable while co-ordinating the use of the common bathroom worked very well as everyone was respectful of each other. We were fortunate to share the perfect "hiker's" breakfast, a selection of... More

We had the pleasure of staying here at the end of June. Unlike some B&B's, it is on the main floor of the house so that you do not wake to footsteps overhead. Our room was small but adequate. The bed was very comfortable. The house is far enough away from the tracks that you can sleep with the window... More

This is one of the more affordable B & Bs in Field, and is definitely a much more economic option than staying in Lake Louise. Overall our stay here was pretty good. Elaine was friendly and easy going, and made us a fantastic quiche in the morning. We also appreciated having a little access to the kitchen to heat up... More
