This is one of the worst hotels I've stayed in lately. There's a really cool luau style pool in the indoor commons. Unfortunately the don't keep the pool heated. I'd guess that the water was right above freezing. I almost had a heart attack just from dipping my toes in. The guy at the front desk said that he would... More

This hotel sign calls it "Legendary" - and it sure was. We four stayed here in two separate rooms - very old and poorly maintained Polynesian themed motel. Pool dirty. Food slightly edible but waitress friendly. Re other reviews: rooms barely clean, not cozy, regular bathroom. We had dinner at The Woodlands which appeared to be much better accomodations and... Fantastic customer service, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and cozy. Has a pool and sauna but we didn't use them. And an amazing breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend. Location is decent, close to gas stations and grocery store.

The hotel room was very old, sink had a gap behind it so you could look through to the floor, ceiling was cracking, hole in the wall, carpet was not well vacuumed, artwork was about 40 years old, as were the red lino and red carpets. But the bed was comfortable and the pillows new. It was quiet despite the... More

Very friendly people, clean room with huge bathroom. The best breakfast in town and a bar. All in the same roof. Highly recommended. They even have a pool at the middle of the building. Located at a walking distance to the visitor information center and the museum.

The hotel looked good online, but at check in, we were directed through a maze of stairs and ramps to an echoing hallway. Our room was small and very tired. The bathroom counter was very low, and I'm only 4'11! The bed was uncomfortable, and there was so much light and noise coming in from the 3" gap under the... More

Room was clean and quiet, had a great night sleep. The main building had a Polynesian decor, this looked cool, but would look better with a new carpet. The staff was friendly. The onsite restaurant had good food, if your looking for ambience, this not the place, the breakfast is included but only 2 tickets allowed per room, all else... More

The staff were accommodating and the food was good. wifi sucks, the rooms need serious updating, and the access to upper rooms is by stairs. Getting to some rooms can be a journey. No microwave in rooms but a community microwave in hallway. Small fridge and the beds are below average. The parking is terrible and parking area can be... More

We stopped for breakfast while driving through town. We asked at the gas station for a good place for breakfast and coffee and two persons recommended Fort Nelson Hotel restaurant. The hotel lobby was very welcoming and fitting to British Colombia and environs. The restaurant is connected to the lobby and serves a good variety of options. I was told... More

The rooms were great, I loved the decor and the food was also very good. When I cross country again I will definitely stop and stay again. Pet friendly and I had 4 pets with me including a 130 lb great dane. They did not even blink or question. I had trouble with my car and they directed me to... More
