The location of this hotel is good because it's right off the highway and near a gas station/convenience store. That doesn't make up for the hotel though. The staff were adequate, many times I went to the desk and if they were doing something I didn't get acknowledged until they were done, even though they could clearly see me. The... More

I've stayed at the Mount Peyton several times, as there is very little to chose from in the area. This hotel is in dire need of an update. The carpet is worn, the trim is chipped, the bathroom is ancient, and the beds are awful. The CRT tv flickers, and the WIFI is completely unusable. If it weren't for the... More

We made an unscheduled stop to the Mount Peyton Hotel due to the road conditions being too bad to continue. And we sincerely feel as though we should have just kept pressing on to another location. The vending machine that provided mouth wash and tooth brushes was broken (this is the first hotel I have ever stayed in that had... More

I found the Mt. Peyton hotel to be dated and in need of refreshing. The beds were reasonably comfortable but it's time to update the carpet and paint. On the plus side, it is centrally located and easy to access from the highway.

Spent 2 nights at this place, first night was in the motel and the stink of stale smoke was awful even the pillows smelled of smoke. We had to go buy air freshener to try and make it bearable. Second night was in hotel part there was no smell of smoke there but carpets were dirty and stained , upholstered... More

We were booked into the efficiency suites at this hotel. Only one light worked when we entered the room. The sink and tub wouldn't drain, although the water was hot. Most things did not work - example hair dryer. It is a very run down lodging. It was so smoke infested that we couldn't stay in the room and left.... More

This place is the worst for noise, completely ridiculous. Not a little noise, kids screaming running up and down the halls like a frat house or chuck e cheese, only I AM paying, if there was a minus minsu this place would get it.

Stayed in the motel side of the hotel and whilst the rooms are basic, the walls are paper thin, i.e. you can hear the guy next door shaving himself in the morning... Motel side is a lot quieter than the hotel without any amenities that the hotel has to offer though....

Decent hotel, an older one that could probably use some tlc but its the biggest hotel in GFW and has three great restaurants to try out. Service is good at this hotel and they do what they can to help you out even if they don't have it.

We visited for a Rookie baseball event hosted by the local league. Our hotel welcome was friendly and rooms were very clean. The hotel staff was helpful with directions & a few special requests for our team. The location was very easy to find and located close to the sports venues and restaurants. Our baseball families enjoyed their stay in... More
