We have visited Yellowpoint Lodge for over 15 years now. We will keep coming back to particpate in their triathlon: Eat Sleep and Read. It is very easy to do. The fox is excellent and if 3meals are not enough there is snacks put out 3 times a day. With no cellphones or laptops aloud in the main sitting rooms... More

Owners Richard and Sandy Hill continue the tradition of family hospitality established by Gerry Hill in the 1930s. The lodge overlooks the ocean and a salt water swimming pool nestled in the natural rock contours and offers probably the best all inclusive accommodation on the west coast. You will not go hungry! With three generous meals a day, morning coffee... More

Yellow Point Lodge, is in the main, not your traditional hotel. If you are up to a different hotel experience this might be the one for you. There are several accommodation options and we chose the barracks. Small cabins with lights and electrical outlets, but no built in heat. The main window is in the front of the cabin that... More

As a wedding gift, my family gave my husband and I a gift certificate for a stay in a cabin at Yellow Point Lodge for two nights. As my aunt handed it to me, she admonished that I should either pounce on a last minute cancellation, or book months and months in advance. As luck would have it my brother... More

Yellow Point Lodge represents the best of the past for me.Nature left to itself, mature silent forest, oystercatchers at dawn.I am a Barracks-person and proud of it.Yes,my barracks is rustic.Do not look for a bathroom or a lock on the door.Sit back on the long verandah with book, binoculars, and beverage.Listen for the call to meals, sleep with the Ocean under your bed, catch up with... We didn’t stay at the resort but only had lunch, this is available to non guests only if they have vacancy. They make enough food for a full house and you must call on the desired day to determine if you can be seated, it is buffet style and everything is made onsite. Deli style, pasta, salads, and great seafood... More

Yellow Point is a unique experience. Designed to be a rustic retreat, the Lodge no frills, no luxuries, just wholesome home cooked food, convivial company and a glorious ocean view. Reminiscent of mountain lodges this is a place where all meals are taken in a dining hall at non-reserved tables, so you really have to mix, even if you don't... More

If you are looking for a unique take on "all inclusive" you should try this place. I have stayed here for 7 years straight on the same weekend. What makes this place unique is the consistency. There reservation system allows you to book the same weekend every year and this means that the majority of the people are also the... More

A Million Thanks from both Margot and myself for a most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Yellow Point Lodge. No WiFi, no television, no radio, no telephone. An absolute away-from-it-all rest. The food was marvelous. The hot tub was a blessing to start the day. We shared a Kayak, visited seals by Navy Cutter, walked the beaches and read books.... More

Yellow point lodge is not the place to go to if you want to lose weight. But if you are looking for a place of great natural beauty and peace this is it! Situated on Vancouver island coast nearLadysmith, in woodland rich with arbutus trees, beside the shore line looking towards Salt Spring island. The accomodation is rustic ,but very... More
