Since 1953 I have watched and visited this large preservation of an exquisite piece of our west coast Island. Two generations of the Hill family, share with everyone ,but NOT change while conforming to necessary changes. Preserving the original charm, you can still book a tiny shack on the beach,Take a tree shower, swim in a huge salt water pool,... More

Fantastic get-away. Loved observing the sea creatures from the kayak and from wadding. Got to see crabs attacking a jelly-fish. The outdoor shower was appreciated after an evening of dancing. G-L-O-R-I-A!!! Highly recommend this lodge to anyone who needs to just unwind.

Looking for a quiet get-away that's "All Inclusive" except for the booze, this is the place for you. Looking for a 5 Star pretentious hotel with large flat screen TVs and over priced tapas, give this one a pass. Richard, Sandy and their super friendly staff will make you feel at home and the "home cooked" meals are always delicious.... More

Yellow Point Lodge is in a unbelievable natural setting nestled on the shore about 1 1/2 hour drive from Victoria BC. It's 160 acres, 60 of which is preserved to nature is unique with it's cliff cottages, bare bones barracks, field cabins with wood burning fireplaces and larger cabins, and beach cabins as well as rooms in the lodge. Yellow Point Lodge is a very picturesque lodge in the old style with a massive stone fireplace with inglenooks. On a sunny day everything around you is blue: the swimming pool, the sea, the hills and mountains up into the blue sky. You can really lose yourself and become a very peaceful part of all that blue. But even on... More

We were desperate for a quiet all inclusive vacation away from the city and stumbled upon Yellow Point Lodge. Our first two nights were in a beautiful cabin across from the beach and gave us much rest and relaxation. Staff were fantastic and having your meals taken care of was a great bonus, all included in your nightly rate! Really... More

Victoria cottage has seven bedrooms and looks out onto a pure white mini beach and crystal clear water. Leisurely walks along the beach or Forrest trails, kayaking or sitting on the beach playing a board game are the tough choices of the day. Hummingbirds, deer and bunnies are regular visitors and occasionally whales. The owners and staff are amazing, make... More

I was a first time visitor, as two girlfriends arranged a get away weekend. I did not know what to expect and admit I was a little apprehensive when I first drove up. I was so impressed at the end of the weekend I could not wait to rebook for next year. The cabin we were in was clean, neat... More

We have visited Yellowpoint Lodge for over 15 years now. We will keep coming back to particpate in their triathlon: Eat Sleep and Read. It is very easy to do. The fox is excellent and if 3meals are not enough there is snacks put out 3 times a day. With no cellphones or laptops aloud in the main sitting rooms... More

Owners Richard and Sandy Hill continue the tradition of family hospitality established by Gerry Hill in the 1930s. The lodge overlooks the ocean and a salt water swimming pool nestled in the natural rock contours and offers probably the best all inclusive accommodation on the west coast. You will not go hungry! With three generous meals a day, morning coffee... More
