We stayed four nights at this wonderful, pet friendly B&B and wished we could stay longer! Jamie and Ingrid go over and above in every way to make sure that your stay is marvelous. Right from the warm welcome we knew we were in very good hands. The room was immaculate, peaceful and quiet, gourmet breakfasts were fabulous, private porch... More

Last week our family stayed at Jarid's Corner and had a wonderful experience staying at the B & B and touring the Cowichan Valley. We brought along our very large dog over 100 lbs who was very welcomed. Upon our arrival were some home made cookies on the table in our room. The rates were reasonable and the weather for... More

I recently stayed at Jarid's Corner for a five night stay. I had a lovely time exploring Ladysmith, Chemainus and Saltair. Ingrid and Jamie were perfect hosts. They both cooked lovely breakfasts for me with beautiful presentations, always. They made me feel welcome and comfortable. Best of all my dog got to stay with me. Jamie directed me to a... More

My husband, our dog Chester, and I had the great fortune of spending a night at Jarid's Corner B&B recently. We all liked Jamie and Ingrid right away and were very impressed with the accommodations and quiet, country setting of their B&B. We splurged on the 'Home-Suite-Home' unit, which was still significantly less cost than the local Best Western's cheapest... More

Absolute perfection in a neat package! This B&B is so nice, clean and the rooms are huge! Private bathroom, tv, vcr/dvd (available to use - they will even pop you popcorn!), couch, small deck, and a table to have your breakfast in your room! The breakfast? Delicious!! And served when you wish. Jamie and Ingrid are friendly and fantastic hosts.... More

We've stayed here twice now - both times have been fantastic. We have a toddler and a small dog and both were welcome. Jaime and Ingrid have created an oasis..and the breakfasts are amazing! We'll definitely be back.

We've stayed twice now at Jarid's Corner, which is actually almost closer to Chemainus than to Ladysmith. Their rooms are huge and comfy, and they welcome dogs--which is rare in B&Bs! The breakfasts are "to die for"--and their policy is to make you something different and special every morning of your stay. The hosts make you feel right at home.

My mom and I stayed at Jarid's at the end of January because we had to be in the area to plan and attend my uncle's funeral. We called the night before anxiously trying to find places to stay for all our in-coming family. The hosts were very sweet, and showed true concern for our situation. When we checked in... More

It was our first stay at a B&B, we were kind of leary, certainly did not want to be sharing a washroom or anything of the likes... but as the website says you have complete privacy. They are large rooms, very clean, comfortable & quiet, plus they allow dogs and our two are greyhounds. There are great walking areas around;... More
