This B&B is conveniently located on the main street of Lunenburg. But the parking is inadequate for the number of rooms, and the on-site manager was decidedly unhelpful in offering alternative parking between 9 and 5. (She will guide you to pricey pay parking. Instead, drive 2 blocks inland to a lovely Anglican churchyard and you can park all day... More

Thank you for your response. Happy to say that we have begun to put shampoo in the rooms now for a little while. We are really big on as less waste as possible here for the environment and throwing out shampoo every day was hard. But we have decided to put it back in the rooms. For the parking, we... More

Room 3 - great view, jacuzzi-type bath and separate shower. The Sail Inn is a period property with lovely features (great wee sitting area on the top floor!) and friendly, super-helpful staff. Breakfast was locally influenced and varied, and the hot options cooked to order - really tasty. I missed the free sail season by a day or so but... More

We loved our stay at the Sail Inn, our only regret was only staying one night! Our room was comfortable and quiet and the bathroom was a real treat much better than expected. Breakfast was good and offered just about anything you could want. The included sail was certainly a highlight of our trip...........make sure you bring your camera as... More

Very nice B&B. Nice breakfast and great service. Rooms nicely decorated and furnished. Over all a great stay. The family also runs a sailing business where you are welcome to join the trips if space permits.

This was the most enjoyable experience - we booked the Sail Inn B&B because of the location (1) and also the sailing excursion on the Eastern Star (2). Our host and sea captain, Keith, was excellent, the staff at the B&B were top notch - thanks, Amanda! We will definitely be back your way again.

The rooms are beautifully furnished, very large and comfortable. Beautiful harbour view and excellent breakfast. The two hour sailing trip that is included in the room price was a wonderful experience, very enjoyable. Would certInly stay here again!

We stayed at the sail in last month and what a wonderful experience. We stayed in Room four & looks right at the "Blue Nose" and harbour. Staff was great, smooth check-in. Stay includes a 2 hour sail trip in their 48 foot sailing boat. It was an absolutely beautiful day & experience. A wonderful breakfast included in the morning.... More

We stayed at the Sail Inn two nights and my only complaint was that our room was a little warm and the window a/c didn't help much, but they were two very hot days. However, it wasn't warm enough that we couldn't sleep. We stayed in room #3 on the top floor, the room was large, the queen bed comfy,... More

We checked in mid afternoon and had requested a room with a view of the harbor. It was a large room with wonderful antique furniture and a huge bathroom as well as a small kitchenette. As part of our stay we were also offered a ride on the owners sailboat which was a great plus. The ladies at the desk... More
