We stayed in the Sail Inn Oct 17-19 and found it to be clean, comfortable, and the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a small "glitch" with the mini-fridge and the owner had it fixed very shortly after we reported the issue. The wooden floors throughout the hallways and room #4 were shinny and very bright with the... More

Great location overlooking the ocean. We stayed in room 3 and our room had a view of the Bluenose II. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was very large, as was the jetted tub. The complementary parking is an added bonus. The staff were very friendly and the complementary breakfast was very good with lots of options, including... More

We stayed here for two nights in room 4 on the top floor. We were not disturbed by any noise and had comfortable sleeps both nights. The inn is beautifully restored with lots of attention to details. It is located right in the center of town within easy walking distance to everything. It was wonderful looking out of our window... More

This B&B is in a charming old building and in a great location in an absolutely beautiful town, but there is no insulation in the old building and we were constantly disturbed from loud noises and movement from the guests in the upstairs room. We were booked into room 1 on the lower floor for 4 nights and could not... More

A special old building that has been wonderfully updated with the latest conveniences. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and serve a excellent breakfast. Special pastries and terrific Herring. This will be my stop the next visit to this Special city. Large Jacuzzi tup that was fantastic. Bed was great too. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! Stay... More

Beautiful old building in a great central location. The room had a great view of the harbor, a big comfortable four poster bed and an amazing bathroom with a big Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The staff were very accommodating, having us let ourselves in as we were arriving after-hours. In the morning we were greeted downstairs with a lovely... More

Have stayed here twice and both times very comfortable with a very good breakfast. Would help if they had shampoo in the room, however they did give me one on asking. Centrally located to walk everywhere and the free sail on the Eastern Star was o lovely bonus. Would stay again.

Before we make reservations, we always read the trip advisor reviews. Based on the wonderful reviews, we made a reservation for two nights at the Sail Inn B and B. I wonder if people are basing their reviews on the free sail boat ride that is included in the price of the room. The price of the sail boat tide... More

We were all shocked to read that you enjoyed no part of your stay here. Referring to other guests reviews they are not only happy with the free sail boat ride, but agree that is is a fantastic bonus. The email that gets sent out before the weekend is to give the opportunity for guests to write back if they... More

Our first B and B stop on our tour of Nova Scotia. What a great choice. Lovely rooms with views, we were in room 3. Friendly people, and gorgeous breakfasts with plenty of choice. To top it all a trip on the Eastern Star.

Loved the ship style decor. Spacious room and bathroom, also kitchenette facilities. Situated in town with parking at the back, and great view of the harbour, telescope provided. Very comprehensive breakfast, and bonus of free trip on the Evening Star yacht.
