My wife and I recently stayed at the Spinnaker Inn for one night. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Our room overlooked the waterfront. It is located near many restaurants within walking distance. Parking is available on the street. A minor problem with this location is that it is located on the second floor which is only accessible... More

This small Inn is only four rooms, most of which have a beautiful view of Lunenburg's historic harbour. This town was a highlight of my trip to the maritimes, and the Spinnaker Inn is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are decorated with lovely antique furniture, with a large king sized bed (in our room) which with the window... More

We were two adults, a five year old and 18 month old staying at the Inn for two nights (should have planned for a third night). Christina was so welcoming - especially to our children! Our five year old took a real liking to Christina. He gave her the daily update of our time in Lunenburg. The accommodations were perfect... More

We booked the port suite and enjoyed the promised harbour views. It was summer so there was a fair bit of noise from the restaurant patio downstairs, but we were hardly in the room during the day so it was a minor issue. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the decor very pretty. The only thing I missed was... More

We arrived in Lunenberg with no accommodation booked and chanced upon the Spinnaker Inn on our 2nd day. Well, a nights stay in the Inn completely changed our plans from traveling up to Cape Breton to exploring the South Shoe region thoroughly instead. Christina was the perfect innkeeper and apart from providing us with spectacular accommodation with views over the... More

Beautiful room #3 with en suite, luxurious king bed, view overlooking harbour, four tall ships in harbour including The Bluenose. Even the weather was good for the week (last of april) with only bits of rain and one cold day - lots of sun warm. Hostess nice and helpful, chambermaid sweet - a Newfoundlander. Middle of town with two nationally... More

Beautiful, immediate and small scale (a very good thing, in my opinion) the Inn was far better than anything I was expecting, much less for the spot on price. It's lovely, and Christina is a wonderful innkeep, and her attention to detail and comfort is astounding. I traveled solo, quite a distance, and even though it was quite a bit... More

We stayed at this wonderful inn over Christmas with our 4 year old son in the Spinnaker Suite. Christina the Innkeeper was incredible. She even provided some toys and a special blanket for our son! Given that most food stores were closed during the holiday season, Christina even stocked our fridge and kitchenette with some festive goodies and necessities. And... More

I always want to be in the center of an old town. Parking is always a problem and this hotel has no parking.. However, a spot opened up in front as we arrived. Christina Stubb, Inn Keeper, fed the meter for us for the rest of the afternoon. We filled it up the next day as we only had one... More

Management response:

Thank you for your comments on our Inn and I am happy to hear our location was ideal for you and our rooms comfortable for your stay. We do try to give our guests a heads up about the stairs especially if traveling in a group. Please note we do have one level rooms without extra stairs and these offer... More

My family and I stayed here for one night, while the weather was terrible the room was great! Very nice size room which was able to accomodate a cot for our daughter. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and the view from the room was very nice. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain during our stay, but the Innkeeper leant... More
