Lunenburg is Nova Scotia's most picture perfect town and should not be missed. It has a historic working waterfront, beautiful harbour, cartoon coloured buildings , one of North America's best Fisheries Museums, a UNESCO designation, numerous art galleries, unique shops and some of the province's best seafood restaurants at various price points. We lucked out with the Spinnaker Inn's room #3... More

Great location but up a narrow flight of stairs with your luggage is not that easy. Street noise was quite loud to leave the window open for more air. It did have a nice kitchenette and separate living space but the T.V. Was in the bedroom.

I was looking forward to spending time in Lunenburg and staying at the Spinnaker Inn. We lucked out and got a parking spot in front on the Inn. ($1/for 2 hours between 10 am and 5pm.) After checking in at the Restaurant we climbed the stairs to our room #1. Queen bed overlooking the harbour. Day two we moved to... More

We stayed in room 4 which had a kitchenette and a sofa (think it could be made into a bed but we didn't need it) then upstairs there was a large room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The room was very close and convenient to historical sights. We could see the Bluenose from our... More

Very nice hotel with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We were in room 2 that had a kitchenette and pull out bed on one level and the upstairs had a king bed and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi. The view over the harbour was spectacular from the bedroom...the schooner Bluenose was right there to see. The Jacuzzi was... More

We truly enjoyed our room at the Spinnaker Inn. It was very quaint and had lots of room....kitchenette, sitting room and parlour. We had no problem with noise at all unlike some others who have posted. The view was beautiful and we easily found parking on the street. The bathroom was very spacious and had a large modern spa tub... More

This is a very small inn located very close to the harbour. Our room faced the harbour, so the view was spectacular - especially as the Bluenose II was in port. As there is a lot of activity in the area (patio cafes & restaurants - including in this inn, horse -drawn carriages, etc.) if you need absolute silence to... More

My husband and I and our two teenager spent three nights at this hotel. We loved it. It is in the center of town, with a view of the harbor. The room actually was split in two, with a downstairs room that contained a kitchen, a twin bed and also we fit a roll-away bed. The upstairs had a king... More

Perhaps my English expectations of an Inn were wrong, check in at the restuarant next door ,grumpy man said, noparking ,nobreakfast, let me have your credit card. You then lug your bag up 17 step stairs, to a large room. Furniture was from a thrift store very battered, the bed was two matress high so not for the disabled. The back... More

A funky spot to lay your head. Stayed 2 nights, wish we had longer. Right in the heart of Lunenburg. The trucks at the dock during the night were noisy, but highly entertaining. Great kitchenette in the room. Comfortable beds. Two thumbs up here!
