Lunenberg is a very busy tourist town, and we were fortunate to get a room as we had not pre booked. That said, this room was tiny, with noisy A/C, sloping floor, and only a double bed. On the other hand, it was clean, bathroom fine (toilet was unbelievably low, a problem for mobility challenged persons), bed was comfortable, and... More

We stayed in room 1 and it had spectacular views of the water. The weather wasn't cooperative so it was quiet, but it might be noisy had there been lots of people outside. It wouldn't deter us from staying there but it might be a concern for anyone who is a light sleeper.

Location was awesome but our room was tiny. However we didn't spend much time in the room so it was okay. I'm a fresh air freak so I left the window open while we were out. When we came back it smelt of cigarette smoke. People sitting outside on the steps beside our window were smoking. Yuck. Had to close... More

I spent one night there, room was small but okay with a sideway view of the harbour. Room 7 is just opposite from some maintenance room, bring some earplugs. The restaurant below serves brilliant scallops and lobster but they charged me for one little sip of a recommended though horrible peachy wine that nearly ruined the otherwise perfectly prepared food

My wife and I stayed three nights at the Brigantine Inn, and we loved it. The staff was very friendly and the room was really nice. Our room wasn't ready when we got there so the gentleman checking us in invited us to have a drink on them in the Grand Banker Restaurant, which is part of the inn. The... More

We had an amazing stay at Brigantine Inn. Stunning views of the habor and cove. Our room (Room 1) was so spacious, very clean and beautiful. The room was so cozy and comfortable and very romantic. I could have stayed there forever. The location was perfect. The food downstairs at the Grand Banker was awesome and they have a great... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in Lunenburg this summer, although during our stay the weather did not cooperate, I will visit again soon and stay in this beautiful Inn. The view was simply incredible and the room was spacious with a large Jacuzzi tub overlooking the stunning harbor. Downstairs at the Grand Banker restaurant we had some of the best... More

I selected this Inn following the advice of Trip Advisor reviewers. They were spot on regarding location. It is in the center of town...walking distance to the Fisheries Museum, shops, great restaurants, and has free street parking on weekends. It was awkward to walk downstairs from the entrance on Montague Street into the Grand Banker Pub to check-in. However, doing... More

This hotel is located right in the center of town, with a view of the bay. The beds are comfortable and the rooms clean. It is a historic building so the rooms are not huge, high end resort type rooms, but they were large enough, comfortable and all of the necessary amenities, including a nice flat screen TV. We enjoyed... More

We had a nice stay for one night in one of the second floor rooms. Brigantine Inn is right there in the middle of things in Lunenburg and overall the town tiny to walk around. There was a restaurant downstairs, where we guided for our check-in. Checking in and out was very smooth and fast. It was nice that there... More
