There was no warning at reception that ours was a second floor room which we discovered was up an 1800's steep and narrow staircase in an annex building down the street from reception We had no reliable wi-fi service in our room and cable had been disconnected. We were fortunate that a tech was on-premises repairing another room's cable and... More

We stayed in the raspberry building for 3 nights with our family. The rooms are very clean, lovely decorated, a fabulous airco and has everything you need. The bed was very good and the shower is fantastic. Service is excellent and they really make you feel at home. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was of excellent quality, especially the home-made... Elegant, charming Inn. We loved our stay there and wished it could have been longer. The staff was wonderful and Barbara at reception was very cordial and helpful. We stayed in the Raspberry building and our double room was just lovely with all the amenities. The Raspberry building had a quirky little elevator, which made it nice since we were... More

We stayed at the Mariner King for 3 nights recently. We had the "honeymoon suite" on the top floor. Huge room and we also had a private patio overlooking Lunenburg. The biggest challenge was carrying suitcases up and down 3 flights of stairs. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Monika who gave us lots of advice on sightseeing. The continental... More

As we stay in scores of hotels every year I decided to devise a template of the features we feel are most important and concentrate on those: Room number, floor, size? – Room 205 in the Cranberry Building. Top floor, access by stairs or very slow lift. Room rather a triumph of form over function – too much clutter of... More

We stayed just one night as we were touring but a great experience at Lunenberg. We had a lovely large room at front (102) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. An excellent continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Bed was comfortable, all in all a good stay and recommended.

While this quaint B&B is a nice piece of architecture, it's staff, facilities, and "food" leave much to be desired. Don't go in the summer, as the AC less than 4 feet from your bed will wake you up every 12 minutes (yes I timed it) when it jerks to life with the grace of a 1962 panel van. Crowded... More

We started with an ordinary room in this wonderfully period hotel. However sensibilities went out of the window and we took the main suite on the top (3rd) floor. We bargained a good rate, which was lucky because this is a hotel you really need to book in advance because of its popularity. as s luneneburg itself of course. Wonderful... More

We stayed here on a recent trip to the maritimes. Had never been to Lunenburg but this place was recommended to us. WE stayed on the newer side that had been done in a maritime theme. Such attention to detail....one bedroom with separate sitting room. Breakfast was served in the main area down the street..a continental breakfast but had eggs... More

The hotel is located in the center of town. It has only two off-street parking spaces, but parking on the street between 6 pm and 9 am is free (meters during day). The building is historic (Victorian?) with attractive period furniture. The bed was comfortable. Small bathrooms, but everything we needed. Keurig coffee in the room. The cold breakfast buffet...
