Loved the historic candy apple annex. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. There were some annoyances such as lamps not working (front desk didn't even have a replacement light bulb), and the WiFi was quirky. The breakfast selection was good, and even though they were not well informed about proper handling of gluten-free food, the staff... More

Our stay at the Mariner King was excellent. The hotel is in a great central location and all Luneburg attractions are a short walk. The room itself was wonderful. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the AC unit was quiet and responsive. Our stay in this hotel would have been worth it just for the shower alone.... More

Our little family had a great night at the Mariner King Inn. We stayed in one of the cranberry suites. Top floor, one of the newer renovated suites. The room sizes were quite small but the attention to eco-friendly was impeccable. Not much you can do structurally with a heritage unesco building site and all, but they made it as... More

The Mariner King is well looked after, attractive, clean and in a good location for exploring the picturesque town of Lunenberg. The rooms have a traditional feel, with seriously plump beds. There's also a fitness room and relaxing sitting room area. Would recommend local bike hire just outside Lunenberg to explore the local area.

I stayed here the second week of August for four nights and was very pleased with the decision to book this. I am not normally a B&B person and usually prefer more modern hotels but I really loved this one. We stayed in room 105, which is the entire top floor of the main house and we loved it. The... More

We loved everything about Lunenburg and couldn't imagine staying anywhere but the Mariner King Inn. We stayed in the renovated "Cranberry" addition but didn't feel we were missing out as the well appointed, high-end room was fabulous. We enjoyed an amazing complementary breakfast in the original building and the friendly and helpful staff let us tour the rooms in the... More

This is a lovely Original building, beautifully restored with antique furniture. Breakfast although not cooked is delicious and staff are very pleasant. 2 problems, parking is only on street and metered and although the hotel meet all the costs we collected at least 2 parking tickets. Access to the rooms is up a very steep stair and there really is... More

I stayed at this unique and historic hotel on Aug 8th. The room I was given had everything you would need as a traveller. The bed was very comfortable with high quality soft sheets and lots of pillows. The bathroom was not overly large but very clean with all the toiletries needed. The breakfast had lots of great selection and... More

My husband and I stayed 2nts here, lovely position in town, staff lovely, wonderful breakfast. Our room in the original old building very quaint but small. Aircon not the best, but when mentioning it to the lovely lady Melanie on reception was told our wine which we had had in the room would be free, as I hadn't slept.we looked... More
