Lovely old hotel set in three adjacent buildings right in the centr of Lunenburg. Our room was spacious with a lovely large and comfy bed. We even had a fireplace which was very welcome when my husband came back from sailing when they got caught in the rain. Breakfast of cereals, juices, coffee, meat and cheese with muffins and bagels... More

My husband and I stayed in the honeymoon suite of the main building for our anniversary and it was absolutely fantastic! When they found out it was our anniversary, they gave us a bottle of sparkling wine, which we enjoyed in the evening on our private patio. Overall, this is a very charming and beautiful building. Everyone we dealt with... More

We stayed in the main building in a front aspect room. Comfy and well equipped, with a great introduction by Monika(?) to both the area and hotel. We were lucky enough to get a rare parking spot but noted there was plenty of on street parking if not. Breakfast was continental style simple but very tasty. Great spot in the... More

The Mariner King is split into 3 seperate buildings. We stayed in the part above the cook shop where we had a super room with a double aspect view. Loved all the Maritime references in the room particularly the ship overhead light. Great bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a bath. Breakfast was continental which is our preference and... My boyfriend and I were in Lunenburg for a wedding, and we stayed in the Mariner King Inn's charming Junior Suite. It was an adorable, romantic room that had its own large sitting area (where we sat and enjoyed a bottle of sparkling wine!). In fact, it could be closed off with pocket doors for privacy/quiet if needed. A nice... More

Wow!! The Mariner King is a really lovely small hotel right in the heart of Lunenburg. Our room was just fantastic with period furniture and a really massive comfortable bed. A lovely place to just kick back and relax. Very close to the historic harbour and a great choice of restaurants. Dyan and Monika, could not have been more friendly... More

My husband and I spent several nights here over the mother's day week-end to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the room was beautiful, immaculate, spacious and well-furnished. We lucked into having the suite with the large soaking tub - perfect for a romantic getaway. The staff are very helpful and the location cannot be... More

If you are looking for a place in the heart of this fishing village with clean rooms, good food and great service - this is the place to go. Located on within a two block walk of the water, someone spent a great deal of time to decorate this Inn with a nautical motif The beds were great with your... More

Monika at the Mariner King took awesome care of my fiancee and I when we visited for a weekend on his birthday. She went above and beyond for us and even included a complimentary bottle of champagne as a birthday gift! The breakfast in the morning was amazing and even included locally made baked goods that we drooled over. Located... More

I stayed in a small room in the main building of the inn, the room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. The room was also decorated beautifully in the same style as the rest of the inn. The interior decoration of the inn makes you feel like you travelled back in time a century (especially the main hall... More
