We loved everything about Lunenburg and couldn't imagine staying anywhere but the Mariner King Inn. We stayed in the renovated "Cranberry" addition but didn't feel we were missing out as the well appointed, high-end room was fabulous. We enjoyed an amazing complementary breakfast in the original building and the friendly and helpful staff let us tour the rooms in the... More

This is a lovely Original building, beautifully restored with antique furniture. Breakfast although not cooked is delicious and staff are very pleasant. 2 problems, parking is only on street and metered and although the hotel meet all the costs we collected at least 2 parking tickets. Access to the rooms is up a very steep stair and there really is... More

I stayed at this unique and historic hotel on Aug 8th. The room I was given had everything you would need as a traveller. The bed was very comfortable with high quality soft sheets and lots of pillows. The bathroom was not overly large but very clean with all the toiletries needed. The breakfast had lots of great selection and... More

My husband and I stayed 2nts here, lovely position in town, staff lovely, wonderful breakfast. Our room in the original old building very quaint but small. Aircon not the best, but when mentioning it to the lovely lady Melanie on reception was told our wine which we had had in the room would be free, as I hadn't slept.we looked... More

We stayed in an annex room a short distance from the main building. Our room was large, comfortable and decorated in a tasteful nautical theme. The Mariner King is in the middle of Lunenburg, close to shops, restaurants and the excellent Fishing Museum, which is well worth a visit. Breakfast in the main house was a cold buffet, but choice... In June we stayed in the new pink building .A lovely suite, bedroom and small living room. Nicely decorated, all new.Breakfast buffet was served in the main building. Very friendly staff. The location was perfect...away from the ''fish and chips- smell''. Next time would definitely book here again.

We spent two nights at the Mariner King while exploring Lunenberg. Our room was on the third floor and had skylights, a sitting area, and a bath with both a shower and tub. We loved the fact that there was lots of room to store everything (especially in the bathroom) where in so many hotels and B & B's there... More

For our 3rd anniversary I booked the suite at the top of the 3rd floor for something a little special. Everything was perfect. The room was much larger than I thought, with a sitting area inside the "bump" windows and another area complete with fireplace and bar. 3 skylites in the suite and one of the most comfortable beds I... We stayed in the main building of the Inn and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of an older building with period furniture and decor. Despite the beautiful old-world feel, they have not spared modern convenience, with a Keurig and flat screen TVs. The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Our hostess was extremely helpful, and the breakfast was... More
