In June we stayed in the new pink building .A lovely suite, bedroom and small living room. Nicely decorated, all new.Breakfast buffet was served in the main building. Very friendly staff. The location was perfect...away from the ''fish and chips- smell''. Next time would definitely book here again.

We spent two nights at the Mariner King while exploring Lunenberg. Our room was on the third floor and had skylights, a sitting area, and a bath with both a shower and tub. We loved the fact that there was lots of room to store everything (especially in the bathroom) where in so many hotels and B & B's there... More

We were looking for a place to getaway for a night outside Halifax. Looked online and choosen Mariner King Inn based on pervious feedback. It was a lovely place to stay, fantastic location, friendly staff and amazing private room on the top floor with balcony and most comfortable bed!! Enjoyed a nice dinner at restaurant next door and took in... More

For our 3rd anniversary I booked the suite at the top of the 3rd floor for something a little special. Everything was perfect. The room was much larger than I thought, with a sitting area inside the "bump" windows and another area complete with fireplace and bar. 3 skylites in the suite and one of the most comfortable beds I... We stayed in the main building of the Inn and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of an older building with period furniture and decor. Despite the beautiful old-world feel, they have not spared modern convenience, with a Keurig and flat screen TVs. The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Our hostess was extremely helpful, and the breakfast was... More

We booked this for our anniversary and decided to upgrade a bit and chose the Junior Suite with a king bed, which is the entire top floor with a private deck. First of all, the pictures do not quite do this place justice: the suite is huge, it's like a little house. You have a living room area with a... More

Very nice B&B with an antique theme. My wife and i stayed on the "one night romantic get away" package in a 1 bedroom suite for our anniversary. The suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and bright with modern conveniences (cable TV, Wi-Fi, AC,mini bar, Keurig coffee machine with tea of coffee choices) and an antique bathroom. The King Sized... More

Two of our three sons have received their university degrees at one of the many institutions of higher learning in Nova Scotia. Hence Priscilla and I find ourselves in Lunenberg, a quaint and charming UNESCO Wolrd Heritage Site. There is not much to choose from in Lunenberg in the way of accomodation. We are not Bed and Breakfast types. After... More

My daughter and I stayed one night in the attic suite and enjoyed the entire experience tremendously. Every comfort was available, and the public rooms downstairs are very cozy and decorated in period style with traditional colours throughout. All areas are scrupulously clean and inviting. A huge continental breakfast was served in the dining room, and our gracious host made... More
